A Catholic Mom's Guideline For Protection From Demons Spells Etc.

In these perilous times where evil is propagating and proliferating throughout the world and especially in the United States exponentially it is imperative that every Catholic mom and fathers too be aware of evil that lurks in society to be aware and take the appropriate measures every Catholic mom has a duty to God and her children to protect our children from any and all evil influences. Let me start with The vocation of the Church to bring us to salvation with God. It is God's Holy will to bring pagan nations to the one true faith that was done by bringing the Magi to adoration of the one TRUE God Jesus Christ...Catholicism. Parents should know the feast of Epiphany and specific blessings that are done on that feast day. The Magi for example was a calling of pagans to the one true faith and salvation. During the feast of Epiphany it is always good to have special Epiphany Water that has been blessed along with special prayers to drive away the devil. Epiphany the twelfth day of Christmas in the Blessing of Epiphany Water there is a special prayer for exorcism. Why is Epiphany so important in protection from the demonic? That is easy to see, the central part is the calling of pagan nations to convert to Jesus Christ, because before the coming of Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ there were two nations of sorts the Hebrew nation and pagan nations under the influence of the demonic. In Psalms 96:5 For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens. That excepting the Hebrew nation. So in that context you can see that Jesus came to free us all from sin and darkness, so its only natural that this feast contain prayers to drive away the devil. Today our society is deluged with a flood of the occult and pagan practices. Superstition is everywhere, lets take a closer look at the sin of superstition. Saint Thomas Aquinas tells us "superstition is a vice contrary to the virtue of religion" (Summa) There are three

major categories of the sin of superstition. and I will go through them all. They are as follows:

Idolatry Divination Vain observance

Idolatry in the theological sense means giving divine honors to any creature. An example would be like worship or offering sacrifices and so forth to pagan idols. I would like to give a brief commentary: In missionary countries it is found that the primitive uneducated pagan worships stones, trees animals, and many other inanimate irrational things. Image worship is animistic in its lower forms and symbolic in its higher forms. It is usually attended by a soul spirit most likely a demon. The educated pagan adopts a a viewpoint that the image is some attribute of demon like deity. Now what was once true several decades ago in missionary countries is tragically true everywhere even in our America. neopaganism, goddess worship, earth worship, witchcraft, voodoo, santeria, mixed with catholicism, and blatant satanism have proliferated worldwide and especially here in America. Even the Air Force Academy built a stone circle so the cadets faculty can engage in pagan worship there along with pagan chaplains serving troops and military. Even our prison systems have pagan clergy. Lets not have any illusions about these occult practices, they are not going away unless radical changes and mass nationwide prayers take place along with the consecration of Russia and the abolishing of the Council of Vatican II is done by papal encyclical ex cathedra. The America our parents and grandparents remember is gone, it no longer exists. For all intents and purposes and due in large part to false president obama this sadly has become a pagan nation with a few vestiges of Christianity scattered about. All the elections will not change that but possibly mass prayer and the aforementioned might despite having lost the cultural war. Unless we act, paganism may become more and more blatant as time passes, especially if we are apathetic and give into despair.

Now in divination, the sin of divination is committed when the devil involved either explicitly or implicitly in order to discover a secret or secrets or hidden knowledge. There is explicit invocation of the devil who's aid is expressly implored. For example the devil sometimes takes possession of the body of a human being and manifests its secrets through it as may or may not be the case with the current president, this is called pythonism, as in Acts 16: 16 the slave girls possessed by a pythonical spirit (demon) Nowadays the pop culture Hollywood term is "channeling". This was common in ancient times and is tragically becoming common again, especially in pop culture. Please bear in mind no matter how popular the "in" pop culture makes it, it still is a grave mortal sin. The devil is implicitly involved when means not sufficient for the purpose and which are not ordained by God are used to find out hidden things such as crystals, amulets, charms etc. Another example is the devil being involved, is in palm reading when lines of the hand are consulted as indications of the future, other examples are, fortune telling and tarot cards, crystal balls (necromancy) because it involves spirits of the dead. Now if that seance is successful you are actually communicating with the devil. Sadly devils can be unbelievably convincing in these things. Perhaps and tragically the most common example is use of a ouija board which is a portal or pathway to hell and needs to be avoided at all costs lest one's soul be compromised and body be possessed by the devil. It is the most common road to bodily possession by the devil. The actual case of possession in the movie "the exorcist" was the result of playing with a ouija board. They are extremely sinful so please do NOT allow your child to associate with them or their friends that may have them. That covers divination in which the devil is invoked either implicitly or explicitly in order to discover hidden knowledge. Its tragic that these boards of evil are sold everywhere even in toy stores so please avoid them at all costs along with other forms of divination. Now onto the third being vain observance as aforementioned we have discussed divination is using disproportionate means to discover what is hidden or secret by the help of the devil. Vain observance also uses disproportionate means but to attain certain outstanding effects with the help of the devil It may be that the practitioner may not even be aware of the devil's aid, they may not even believe in the devil. So vain observance is the use of charms,

spells, sorcery to preserve people or things from harm or to cause harm to persons or things or to cure wounds and diseases or to aquire knowledge without study. Perhaps the larger category of sins of vain observance are witchcraft magic and sorcery tragically popular in many Hollywood movies and mainstream pop culture and toy stores. Also vain observance refers to superstition observance of various things and behaviors which are considered "lucky" or "unlucky" like a lucky rabbit's foot, not walking under a ladder, Friday the 13th, not throwing your hat on a bed etc. Morally speaking there is no difference between divination and witchcraft they may both contain an implicit or explicit contract with the devil. If there is an explicit pact with the devil even if it is under the guise of some pagan god or goddess there will ALWAYS BE MORTAL SIN! Besides all that it is extremely dangerous not only to the practitioner but to the recipient. In absolutely huge percentages of cases treated by exorcists witchcraft or sorcery has been involved. Many times the victim has no clue how the predicament came about or that he or she was a victim of a spell. It is only after the exorcist forces the devil in the Holy Name of God and reveals the "open door" by which he entered that this comes out. To answer the question that many reading this may be thinking, sorcerers can cast spells that harm other people, it should not be that amazing to people. Everyone knows that if they really want to hurt someone, lets say they enter a business deal a hit man contracted out to murder an innocent third party. Well the situation is the same here, devils are the most evil kinds of entity. It is possible for sorcerers to contact devils in order that they hurt a third person, commonly called putting a curse or casting on someone. While it was commonplace in other countries it is recently becoming more commonplace here in the United States. You can avoid these things by staying in a state of grace, constantly praying the Holy Rosary wearing your brown scapula and always say your grace before you eat and you will not have anything to worry about. Also make a cross over your drink especially in a public place you do that the same way a priest would bless the people The Father The Son and The Holy Spirit Amen. That is extremely important as placing a cursed item either in or near the drink of the intended victim. By the blessings you will disarm the spell, bear in mind strong faith in your blessing is required have no doubt in God.

Also remember avoid, witchcraft, sorcery, curses, love charms, potions, voodoo santeria, candles burnt at both ends to saints of death, ammlets crystals certain types of holistic medicine. Bear in mind these are all First Commandment issues. Okay so lets do a review on what we discussed, superstition is a form of offering divine worship to whom it not be offered and in a manner it not be offered. We discussed the three categories of superstitious worship, first category, idolatry meaning giving divine honors to any creature... the second category of the sins of superstition is divination which means invoking the devil either explicitly or implicitly in order to discover secret or hidden knowledge. The third category of sins of superstition that being vain observance things invoking the devil either explicitly or implicitly in order to obtain certain effects or marvels from the devil. Getting back for a minute to Epiphany we celebrate the fact that pagans were called from the darkness of divination, witchcraft and pagan idolatry and given the priceless gift of true faith in Jesus Christ, a faith that without which it is impossible to please God. And yet as we have celebrated Epiphany this past January our friends, neighbors and relatives are turning back and entering back into bondage of the devils that our very ancestors were freed from. What we must avoid is the cultural chaos and apostasy that exists in pop culture. In closing late me state two things that good Catholics should be warned about, the first being practices from the east which by their very nature produce mental states, altered states of consciousness which are characterized by by significant reduction of logical thought and accompanied by passivity of the will. These practices have NOTHING to do with Christian prayer meditation. These practices that produce these altered states of consciousness can open doors to demonic influence in the way synthetic recreational drugs also produce altered states of consciousness which also can open doors to demonic influence. Having stated that, much rock music be it hard rock, acid rock heavy metal was written under that influence of drugs and demonic influence. That means that, that type of music is demonically inspired and listening to it can put one in a demonic inspired sub conscious state and cause one to develop a state of behavior that is intrinsically evil.

Suffice to say rock music is evil and demonic. Some examples producing altered states of consciousness include: centering prayer, yoga, exercises and martial arts like Tai Chi, which are problematic for another reason and that is that the practitioners are specifically opening themselves up to acquiring certain powers of demonic origin. They may be certain Asian arts of laying on of hands, which an exorcist at my college class spoke of a personal exorcism that had resulted from this laying on of hands. Now in the case of anything involving the martial arts these have to do with channeling a sort of occult energy that is NOT of human origin. This is form of energy is commonly referred to as "chi" and this form of energy is used for example the breaking of bricks concrete blocks wood etc when this energy called "chi" is used on people many have said they felt an irresistible power of damned souls. Anyone involved in these practices stop immediately. The second, in an article "Toronto August 23, 2007" In an article critical of Harry Potter Lifesite news always gets an extremely high volume oh hate mail from San Francisco and sodomite activists. The facts are Harry Potter is pure evil designed to corrupt children into the world of the demonic through sorcery and witchcraft. I will start with comments from Catholic author and artist Michael O'Brien "The most obvious problem with Harry Potter is the author's use of the symbol use in the world of the occult as a metaphor, occult activities is a dramatic playing of these thoughts. It uses attractive role models to seduce the child to the world of the occult such as Harry his teacher and the students of witchcraft and sorcery. All of which has the potential of lowering a child's guard of the subconscious and spiritual to actual occult activity which is sadly everywhere these days. While children may know the fantasy in these books may not be real, but emotionally and subconsciously the young reader absorbs it as real. This is further complicated by the fact the world around us provides many opportunities in various subcultures where Harry Potters powers are offered as real. It is important to know that children read fiction with a different consciousness than adults. This is something that has been overlooked by pro-christian readers that have written pro potter commentaries. They forget that children are in a state of mental and emotional formation and being forced to deal with realities at

every turn. So called wholesome fantasy no matter how widespread it may be, reinforces the moral order of the universe in the child's mind. Corrupt fantasy is the potter novels with a few cosmetics to make it palatable to the mainstream. The cosmetics woven into Harry Potter are values" Father Pedro Mendoza exorcist for the archdiocese of Mexico City said the popular Harry Potter book could allow the devil to enter the children's mind and does a lot of damage if you put all these ideas in a child's head he could become a wizard, the child believes that and that is opening an avenue though which the devil can get in. Rome, Father Gabriele Amorth formerly the chief exorcist of the Archdiocese of Rome veteran of over 50,000 exorcisms said the following: " you start off with Harry Potter who comes across as a likable wizard but you will end up with the devil. There is no doubt the signature of the prince of darkness is clearly within these books"

The exorcist also criticized the disorder morality in Rowling's books on Potter they suggest that rules can be compromised and lying can be justified when working to one's benefit. The Vatican's chief exorcist said: "Practicing yoga is satanic it will lead you to the same place that Harry Potter will and that is with the devil." One more exorcist story is the following: I was personally present at a conference in which the speaker made some positive remarks about Harry Potter, another priest living in the Caribbean, with 17 years experience as an exorcist jumped up slammed his fist on the table and said in a very loud forceful tone said "Harry Potter is pure wickedness! I am sick of hearing about Harry Potter! It is a gateway to the occult. I'm pretty big, thats for sure... I can play pro ball, sitting on a couch, the possessed boy picked the couch along with me up by one leg I speak to him in English, he answers in English , I speak to him in Latin he answers in Latin, I speak to him in Italian he answers in Italian I speak to him in Spanish he speaks in Spanish I speak to him in German he answers in German. When i exorcizing him I asked the demon where all this

came from? The demon said Harry Potter. I had four cases in one day of people with demonic problems as a result of involvement with Harry Potter. I don't want to hear anything of Harry Potter! Not everyone gets possessed but watch out and beware! I gave these examples from actual exorcists who battle and combat the devil and if you won't listen to their wise advice you and your children are at grave risk you are certainly in a state of mortal sin and perhaps worse. All I can say is pride goeth before the fall. Let me close by saying by considering a pathway to protect ourselves and our families from attack from the devils, something that is often overlooked is unknown adjuration. What is an adjuration? An adjuration (Matthew 26:63) is solemn demand made in the Holy Name of God to do something or to desist from doing something. In regards to to devils the Catholic Encyclopedia points out: "If the Name of God reverently invoked carries with it an efficacy which demons are unable to withstand" Are we allowed to adjure demons? Well Saint Thomas states in the Summa: "For during the course of this life the demons are our adversaries: and their actions are not subject to our disposal but to that of God and the holy angels, because, as Augustine says , the rebel spirit is ruled by the just spirit. Accordingly we may repulse the demons, as being our enemies, by adjuring them through the power of Gods name, lest they do us harm of soul or body, in accord with the Divine power given by Christ, as recorded by Luke 10:19: Behold, I have given you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall hurt you.--Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ. So in that narrow context we are allowed to adjure demons. You can also use a binding prayer which I have inside Lassie and say at home and I have given to my dearest "bestest" friend and sister in Christ Jesus Di, an example would be "In the name of Jesus I bind you spirit of _______ and send you to the foot of the cross to be judged by Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ" The blank part is where we describe whatever is pestering us things like lust, panic, anger, fear etc. etc. whatever is bothering or

tempting us. If this is a demon bothering us we can tell by saying this a few times since that is going to stop it, bear in mind it requires strong faith in Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ. There was a case of a child that had nightmares and was deprived of sleep he said this prayer for several nights and the demons were bound and no longer tortured the child, bear in mind this prayer can be said for people even if they are a great distance away. You can also say In the Name of Jesus I bind any spirit that is NOT of the Holy Spirit and send you to the foot of the cross to be judged by Our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ That is for a general non specific cause. Let us thank and be grateful to God for having rescued us from a dark world of paganism and sinful superstition and giving unto us Jesus Christ as Lord God and savior, salvation, Mother Church, and the gift of TRUE FAITH in Jesus Name Amen
