GE ENERGY is a wholly owned subsidiary of GE capital, one of the worlds largest energy services companies. GE is a major player in the International market in the energy. Basically this project is a Production Support and Maintenance project. This is a SLA based, 24 x 7, Apps Support and Maintenance Project. GE- Apps has standard module like GL, AP, and PO and around 45 customized modules which have been tightly integrated with the Oracle Apps environment. Roles and Responsibilities:
Registration of Concurrent programs, attaching concurrent programs to Request Groups. Creation of Value sets, Flex fields for all modules and done Registrations like Reports, PLSQL Stored Procedures and SQL*Loader files. Developed & customized several reports and interfaces in modules PO, OM, INV, AP and AR. Involved in developing XML / BI Publisher reports from scratch. Design the Technical DOC. (like MD 070 and TE 040 DOCs) of respective Components. Developed and Customized Conversions and Interfaces. Involved in the development of Stored Procedures and PL/SQL Packages. Involved in Development of plsql scripts using APIs. Involved in defining of some Functional setups. Involved in tuning the query. Developed purge programs using Dynamic SQL. Contribution: As a Team member was responsible for Customization and development of Reports and Interfaces. Involved in writing Control Files for SQL Loading. Executing concurrent programs from PL/SQL. Defining AOL Objects. Defining Concurrent Programs, Executables. Developing XML Reports as per client requirements. Design the Technical DOC.
