We can some optional in the operation mode, such as SUBUNIT, CTRLPORT and SECTOR. If you want to choose the operation mode as SECTOR, it is necessary to relate the sector to the RCU initially. The method is as following:

After binding the RCU with the sector, you can choose to download the RET configuration data according to the sector. The difference between the SECTOR mode with the CRTLPORT mode is that: in the cascade connection, some RCU use the same control port. If we choose the CRTLPORT, all the RCUs get the same configuration data; otherwise, they get the configuration data respectively because they belong to different sectors. The picture blow shows the SECTOR operation mode:

From the picture above, we can see that the parameter of Sector Id and Serial No. are empty. That is because we havent configured the RETDEVICEDATA. We can finish the configuration by the command shown below. Of cause, we can also configure other parameters that should be designed by NTS experts if necessary. The picture below shows how to add the Sector Id and the Serial No. by MML command:

18 Display RET Subunit Dynamic Information In the result of this command, we can get the detailed information about the RCU subunit such as the maximum tilt and the minimum tilt. Pay attention to the dimension (0.1 degree).

19 Display RET Subunit Dynamic Information The dynamic tilt information of the antenna is shown in the result of the MML command.

20 Calibrating the tilt of RET This command can also be operated by SUBUNIT, SECTOR combined with SITE. Again, if we want to choose the operation mode as SECTOR, it is necessary to bind the sector with RET subunit. The operation is the same as what is described in downloading configuration data. Everytimewhenyouwanttoadjustthetiltofantenna,calibrationshouldbedoneinadvance.

 21 Adjust the Tilt of Antenna Before the operation, we should check the range of the tilt by MML command DSP RETDEVICEDATA OperateaccordingtotheRET.
