among those who do not hold advanced degrees or diplomas beyond the high school level. Just as there are many reasons for wanting to obtain a college degree, there is nearly the same amount of reasons for wanting to put it off e.g. lack of finance, job, family obligations, distance etc. It is for this reason that many of the nations colleges and universities are now offering many courses through correspondence and have initiated external degree with little or non- residential study required. ANMA knowing that the education has a high price attached to it in many cases, has sought to keep their tuitions affordable. External study Programs present much lower tuitions to those involved than residential programs. Students may study at their own place and faculty counselors are available to the student to assist them in their studies.

National Board of Nutrimedical Examiners U.S.A

Licensing provisions: Nutrimedicine is a form of health care service an adjunct service to Medicine which in all cases should be primary in trying to save lives. The modalities approved for use by those who have been trained are nutritional education and hygiene counselling herbal case instruction reflexology or zone therapy massage therapy nutritional supplementation counselling and lifestyle counselling. The license is a statement issued by the international board of nutrimedical examiners and the local chapter that the holder is trained in the areas associated with nutrimedicine and that the holder has been found competent to practice within the parameters of the profession and Laws of the State. The licensed professional will be protected by the alliance so long as they do not practice outside the scope of practice or parameters approved. Applicants who desire to become Licensed Members will have to administer a board examination. This can be done by taking a written or oral exam before the local board or by submitting a dissertation on the nutrimedical arts and sciences to the president of the association for approval or to the international alliance. Requirements for Licensure in order to be eligible for licensing one must meet the following 1-.Be a member of the international alliance and or American Nutritional Medical Association . 2. Hold at least a masters degree in medicine nutritional medicine chiropathy, dentistry osteopathy pastoral wellness sciences or a related discipline. 3. Have a certificate attesting to his or her education in the modalities listed in the scope of practice or proof of competency as witnessed by five patients. 4. A letter from the local police authorities stating that there is no warrant out for the arrest of the applicant and that he or she has not been arrested for any criminal offense. 5.Application for licensure must be submitted along with application fee of two twenty five dollars

INTERNATIONAL ASPECT ANMA has specifically developed its programs to be able to serve the student population on an international basis. In this way, no one need to excluded from continuing the education or earning a degree from ANMA. TYPES OF PROGRAMS. A) Those student who wish to undergo certain studies as resident student of the ANMA or in its accredited /affiliated Institutions are covered under resident programs. It is applicable only in the U.S.A. B) NON RESIDENT PROGRAM: This is priority program of the ANMA for the entire world where the students undergo for studies only in some Health program (not in all). Under this program, it is not at all necessary to attend the ANMA or its accredited /affiliated institutions near to the students native place. This is called external study programs (E.S.P). The Non resident program is also conducted through ANMA and its various accredited /Affiliated Institutions all over the world. ADVANTAGE OF ANMA DEGREE: 1) It helps in minimizing the unemployment. 2) It helps in continuing education. 3) The graduates in health disciplines are eligible for certification through many health care Institutions in USA and elsewhere. 4) The student in such disciplines where practical training is not required can undergo for various courses on their own place. ANMA does not maintain any placement register or offer any such service, however may refer to other professional/hiring organizations for screening purposes . Conditions apply. GRADUATION CEREMONIES Unless otherwise approved , all graduates must be present at graduation ceremonies on campus. External degree candidates will be notified as to the date of graduation ceremonies. If there is any reason as to why a graduate can not attend ,The ANMA will mail the diploma and transcripts to the graduate. Formal academic robes are required as directed by the ANMA at the time of graduation. DEGREE LEVELS AND APPPLICATION Bachelors Degree applicants wishing to enter a baccalaureate program should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Individuals without a diploma who are over 30 years of age, and are successful in their own career, may be judges on a individual basis and considered on merit. Masters degree applicants seeking admission to the Masters degree program must normally hold and earned Bachelors degree from an institution recognized by ANMA. RETREAT AND SPIRITUAL THERAPIST For those students who wish to maintain their quest for higher levels of awareness, a chapel/ retreat is available . regular sessions will be held for those interested in attending. Schedule of services will be posted within the ANMA . News Letter. The spiritual therapist/ chaplain is available to all students. Confidentiality in all matters are maintained.

The above grading is for the ANMA and to those institutions who wish to follow this system of grading. The ANMA is granting relaxation to accredited/affiliated institutions as per norms or pattern of their country Head office or country pattern of medical education. 1. Individual Institutions accredited/ affiliated with ANMA can change the pattern examination as per norms of their government Institutions or directions of the representative office of the ANMA in the respective country. The grading pattern can be changed in marking pattern. Semesters can be changed into professional examinations. After completing the graduation specially in Health services , at least 6 to 12 months Practical training (House manship) is must depending on the norms of the countrs Government institutions or directions of the Representative office of the ANMA in the Country. Each Country Head quarter will develop its criteria for admission, examinations and training on the same lines in all the institutions under intimations and permission of the ANMA. Each institutions will conduct their examination on the guidelines of the representative office in the country or the ANMA.
