Generate and utilize your own energy and be grid-independent at the same time: Sun Invention now offers the extremely compact Plug & Power Island Grid Box, an easy to handle and therefore flexible power solution. Apart from the Plug & Save Solar Module, all technical components are protected by a high-quality aluminum box. Besides being easy to use and flexible, the self-contained system is modular expandable to adapt to the needs of its operator. Power classes which range from 150 Watt to 1.400 Watt (short-term rating) can be achieved by combining several Plug & Power Island Grid Boxes with a number of Plug & Save Solar Module s with a performance of 195 (monocrystalline) or 250 Watt (polycrystalline). A continuous rating of ten percent of the short time rating will be available permanently.

Each Plug & Power System is adapted for an alternating voltage of 230 Volt AC. The solar modules are delivered complete with a fold-out support mechanism - so the system can be adjusted to the position of the sun in a trice. This feature makes the Plug & Power System ideal for users who are in need of energy in various places such as performers, showmen, DJs, mobile marketers but is also adapt for summer houses, garden sheds and many outdoor hobbies, such as camping.

For areas which are not grid-connected, e.g. in developing and threshold countries, we recommend employing the Plug & Power Cluster NBK with two additional modules, electric meters and respective sockets. Due to the possibility of keeping accurate accounts small entrepreneurs and communities can provide regional supply of electricity to power private devices (communication equipment etc.) or public installations (e.g. drinking water, medical equipment). It is a one-time investment in the hardware and after that the sun supplies the rough material for generating the energy - without ever sending a bill.

In grid-connected areas with problems regarding the stability of the energy supply the Plug & Power Hybrid can guarantee uninterrupted power supply. Besides producing energy for the current consumption the hybrid system also stores additional energy in its battery. In case of power failure the power supply of all devices and machinery connected to the Plug & Power Hybrid continues without interruption. When the mains power supplies energy again, the system responds by shifting the basic energy supply back to the grid and recharges its battery.
