How do I calibrate my Optium Xceed meter? To ensure accurate results, it is important to calibrate your Optium Xceed meter for each new box of glucose test strips before using them. To calibrate:
1. 2. 3. Open the calibrator package (in new box of test strips). Find the three raised bumps on the calibrator package. Peel the clear cover away from the bumps. Hold the calibrator with the LOT number facing you. Insert the calibrator into the strip port (see figure 1a). Push it in until it stops. The LOT number shows on the display window with the time and date.
