1 Security Warnings
- Only calls/text messages which are communicated with GOLD LOCK are secure, normal calls/text messages on the device are not secure. - Do not allow access to the secure phone device by other people. - Do not allow installation of non-trusted software on the secure phone. - For maximum security - it is recommended to switch off infra red and Bluetooth connections on the secure phone

Installation
- To install, simply use your Symbian phone to navigate to the following URL: www.gold-lock.com/symbian The installation file will be downloaded to your device, and installation will begin.

- Install Nokia PC suite on your PC - Attach the data cable to the USB port of the PC and to the Nokia device, or establish a USB connection. - Make sure the phone is identified by the PC. - Double click the SIS installation file on the PC. - Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

Usage
4.1 Quick Load To quickly load the Gold Lock secure interface, press the c button for 1 second (only available if Gold Lock was previously loaded manually or by selecting Auto Start Gold Lock) 4.2 Add Secure Contact Select Menu => Add Contact Insert the device name of your secure contact and confirm. 4.3 Secure Voice call At least one secure contact needs to be in your contact list To initiate a secure voice call, highlight a secure contact, then press the "Dial" green button or select Menu => Call (contact has to be online) 4.4 Secure Text To send a secure text message, highlight a secure contact, then select Menu => Text (contact has to be online) Inset text, then press the left button "Send". 4.5 Secure File Transfer To securely send a file, highlight a secure contact, then select Menu => File (contact has to be online) Select the file you wish to send, secure transfer will then begin. 4.6 Multiple Tabs Each secure conversation, text or file transfer is displayed in a separate tab, you can freely switch between tabs during calls by pressing on the requested tab. Double clicking a tab closes it. 4.7 Manage Secure Contacts Sign in to your account at www.gold-lock.com to manage everything related to your device and secure contacts.

Configuration
- From the phone's applications menu, click on Gold Lock Enterprise. - After application is started, select Menu => Settings - To enable Gold Lock to automatically load when the phone is started, select: Auto Start Gold Lock = Yes. - In the Settings screen, the following parameters are available: - Server: you can set the server address which manages VOIP traffic (default - Gold Lock Secure Server). - Auto Start Gold Lock: If set to Yes, Gold Lock automatically loads when the phone is turned on. - Auto Connect: If set to Yes, Gold Lock automatically connects on startup. - Ring Tone: Enables to switch between the default ring tone, and any other ring tone you select. - Language: Enables to change the application language. - When Gold Lock is first activated, you will need to input the following details: - Login details - the email and password of your Gold Lock account (if you do not yet have those, please sign up at www.gold-lock.com) - Select a name for your secure device. This will be used by you and your secure contacts to identify your device.

Usage
4.8 Encrypted SMS Messages To begin - open Gold Lock, press Menu and SMS Manager To set the encryption key (password) for secure SMS messages, press Change Key and insert a key (password) Maximum key length is 32 characters. A 256 Bit AES encryption key will be created out of your selected key. The receiving side must have the same key as the sending side, otherwise the incoming SMS message will be unreadable. It is recommended to mutually agree on a new key every now and then, you can use a normal Gold Lock session for that (encrypted voice or encrypted text chat). To send an encrypted SMS message, press New Message, you can then: A. Insert the destination phone number in the To field, or B. Press Options, Contacts to select a contact from your phones contact list. Type in the secure message Press Options, Send You can send an encrypted SMS to a phone that does not have Gold Lock installed, the incoming message will be unreadable.
