Church, 8519 Clark Ave., Cleveland, Ohio (Map Directions) Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 6:00
p.m.to8:00p.m.
Attending: Ward 14 City of Cleveland Candidates Nelson Cintron, Jr., Brian Cummins, Janet

1. Citizen Engagement for Informed Planning How do you plan to engage all aspects of
Ward 14? Residents? Business owners? Cultural institutions? What are your long range
plansfortheWard?
2. AttractingResidentsWhyshouldyoungfamiliesmoveintoWard14?
3. Community Development Investment How will you use your community development
fundingforsocialservices,propertydevelopmentandcommunitydevelopment?
4. Youth Civility and Engagement What is your agenda to engage or help redirect our
youthtopositiveactivitiesandrespectforauthority?
5. Faithbased Community Collaboration What is your strategy for engaging the
faithbased community and working with them to increase social activism in our Ward
14?
6. Senior Citizen LowIncome Assistance Programs What can you do to help senior
citizens and others who do not meet the income guidelines that are proposed by the
community development block grant monies? How would you help them maintain their
homes for those who do not qualify for the low income interest loans, or if their income is
toohigh?
7. "Green" Sustainability Program Development What ideas do you have to make Ward
14amore"green"(sustainable)community?
8. Hispanic Village Investment Outcomes There has been talk for years of having a
Hispanic Village in Ward 14. Since Ward 14 is the most diverse Ward in the city, do you
thinkthisisagoodideaordoyoufeelitwillsegregatetheWard?
9. Candidate and Elected Officials Residency Where do you actually reside now? Where
willyouresideshouldyouwintheelection?
10. Universal Local Representation With the District or Ward being so spread out, how can
youassureusthatanyneighborhoodwillnotbeforgotten?
