EXAMS: There will be four exams during the semester, each worth 100 points. Exams will cover all lecture materials (powerpoint lectures, handouts, videos etc.). Exams are not comprehensive each exam includes only material covered since the last test. Exams will consist of 50 multiple choice and true/false questions. Makeup exams (if approved) will be in the essay format and will be given upon a presentation of a valid, written excuse. If you arrive late on exam day, you will be allowed to take the exam ONLY if no other student has already turned in the exam and left the room. You will loose one point if you do not bring your ID on exam day. Additional instructions for exams will be given on the exam booklet and you are required to follow them in order to earn the maximum number of points. EXTRA CREDIT: Occasionally, extra credit opportunities will be offered to the entire class. No extra credit will be offered on an individual basis.

GENERAL POLICIES: Please feel free to ask any questions about the material either during or after class, whenever you feel most comfortable. Asking questions is a sign of maturity, not ignorance. Make sure to check Blackboard before each class to look for announcements, schedule changes, and extra credit opportunities. Lecture notes for each class will be posted on Blackboard, feel free to print them out and bring them to class.
