I. Corporate Overview Affiliates

As of end-2011, Samsung Group had a total of 78 domestic affiliates. Compared to end-2010, 17 new affiliates (EXE Technologies Korea, EXE C&T, S1 CRM, S-EnPol, Samsung Medison, Medison Xray, Medison Healthcare, Sono Solution, CSL, Prosonic, Samsung Biologics, SMP, STM, Miracom Inc., Samsung Life Service, SSLM, and SU Materials) were added, and seven (Samsung Gwangju Electronics, Samsung Ace Digitech, Medison Xray, Sono Solution, CSL, EXE Technologies Korea, and iMarket Korea) were excluded.
