EXT. METROPOLIS SKYSCRAPER- NIGHT There is an eerie quiet to the city streets. CUT: INT. JUST INSIDE OF THE TWENTIETH FLOOR There is an ISIS FOUNDATION logo on the glass doors to this office. Just inside of the doors, two security guards lie unconscious. Three individuals are in the office area. One of them named TONI (16, European) types away as she hacks into the computer system. Another named AL (17, White) gathers file folders and stuffs them into a duffel bag. A third named LILITH CLAY (18, White) stands down the hall as their lookout. LILITH: What's the hold up? AL: Working on it. LILITH: Well, work faster. Toni scoffs at Lilith's barking of orders. TONI: This isn't ordering pizza. <murmuring> Darmi una rottura. LILITH (O.S.): And I understand Italian. Toni rolls her eyes. Al finishes stuffing the last of the files. The computer monitor that Toni is working on shows files being erased. Lilith looks nervous. LILITH: Come on.

TONI: Almost done. LILITH: Weve got to move! TONI: Almost done! The computer screen reads Jupiter: Isis File Group Beta/ Erased. TONI: (CONT'D) Done. LILITH: Well, we've got company. TWO SECURITY GUARDS wade through the other side of the office, using their flashlights to illuminate the dark room. They approach the three. Al motions to go take them on, but Lilith puts her hand on his shoulder. LILITH: (CONT'D) Quickly and quietly. That's what this mission was about. Toni snatches the memory stick from the computer. She then runs over to the others. Al still looks like he wants to fight the guards. LILITH: (CONT'D) We can't stop Loren Jupiter if we're behind bars. Al nods his head. He heads for the stairs with Toni. They wait at the doorway for Lilith. LILITH: (CONT'D) I've got this. The two guards pull out their guns and point them at Lilith. GUARD #1: Hold it! Lilith stares angrily at them. Suddenly her eyes have a glow to them. The officers have a bewildered look in their eyes. They hear voices in their heads.

It is Lilith. She reads their thoughts and rifles through their memories. Finally, she mentally repeats the word to them. LILITH (V.O.): Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Both of the guards fall unconscious. Once they hit the floor, Lilith's footsteps can be seen as she races for the staircase. CUT: EXT. JUST OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING Bird's eye view of Lilith, Al and Toni getting into a white van parked around the corner from the building. They then speed off. RAVAGER (O.S.): We didn't know which facility they'd hit until it was too late. Close up of Lilith in the passenger's seat. She nervously looks out of the window. As the camera pans back, we see that someone was watching them from a four story rooftop. It is a MASKED MAN wearing navy blue fatigues with orange trim, kevlar body armor and a navy blue ski mask. He goes by the handle of RAVAGER. He speaks to someone on a cell phone. He looks at the kids through binoculars as their van turns a corner. Ravager almost looks like he has a smile underneath the mask. RAVAGER: But now we have a positive I.D. on our militant little troublemaker. CUT TO INTRO: EXT. WATCHTOWER- DAY The city looks still in the gleaming sunrise.

INT. WATCHTOWER CHLOE SULLIVAN walks up the steps from the main planning area. She talks on her cell phone. CHLOE: So, what youre telling me is that ace reporter Lois Lane cant set up a simple interview? CUT: EXT. AIRPORT TERMINAL PARKING LOT- DAY LOIS LANE and CLARK KENT pull their luggage out of the trunk of a car. LOIS: Depends on your definition of simple, little cuz. Loren Jupiter usually doesnt need an invite for any free press he can get. She grabs her last bag out of the trunk. Clark is about to say something, but Lois interrupts. LOIS: (CONT'D) But Jupiters been no showing interviews left and right since he went full steam ahead with his new philanthropic mission statement for the new decade. She slams the trunk shut. LOIS: (CONT'D) Guys all about helping out the kids. And I mean kids as in meteor freak kids. But, thats just a rumor. Clark opens his mouth, but before he can get a word out, Lois continues. LOIS: (CONT'D) Thats the sixth time youve called me about him. Why the sudden interest in money bags? Lois has a look of increased interest.

LOIS: (CONT'D) Is there something I should know about between you two? BACK: INT. WATCHTOWER Chloe looks surprised that Lois would even ask her that. CHLOE: Uh, Ive never even met him before. LOIS (O.S.): Good! Because I speak from experience when I say that rich guys like that will never care for you as much as they care about themselves. And their trust funds. As soon as Lois says this, OLIVER QUEEN walks in to the front door of the Watchtower loft. Chloe looks downstairs and sees him. She smirks at the irony of Lois timing. CUT: EXT. AIRPORT TERMINAL PARKING LOT Lois and Clark walk toward an elevator. LOIS: Anyway, sorry to cut this short Chloe, but the farmboy and I have a flight to catch. CHLOE (O.S.): So, is this trip with Clark to San Francisco business or personal? Lois looks at Clark. He gives an awkward smile back to her. LOIS: Business. Im shocked youd think otherwise. Ciao. Lois hangs up her cell phone as they get on the elevator. CLARK: Yknow, I needed to ask Chloe something. The elevator doors begin to close.

LOIS: Youve got a cell phone too, Smallville. Use it. The elevator doors close. CUT: INT. WATCHTOWER Chloe hangs up her phone. She hears arguing downstairs. OLLIE (O.S.): Thats not our call! Chloe rolls her eyes. This is not what she needed right now. CHLOE: <murmuring> Great. Chloe goes back downstairs. She walks right into the middle of an argument between Oliver, VICTOR STONE, BART ALLEN and MIA DEARDEN. VIC: Then whose call is it Ollie? That kids going to wind up in jail for who knows how long, without chance of parole. Or worse, laid out like a science experiment in a lab. Why? Because he was born different? OLLIE: Vic, he robbed a jewelry store. We cant have separate sets of rules for metas. I know the system isnt a perfect one, but it is a system. BART: Conservative attitude from you of all people? Ollies demeanor drifts into annoyance. BART: (CONT'D) Or does big bucks think that because he funds our little operation, he dictates who we bust up and slap cuffs on?

OLLIE: We exist to stop dangerous criminals, not to run a super powered afterschool detention-He nods at Bart. OLLIE: (CONT'D) But in your case Bart, Id make an exception. Bart gives a sarcastic smile to Ollie. Chloe enters and walks towards Mia. CHLOE: Mia, care to explain the testosterone overload? MIA: Arguing crime fighting philosophies. She looks toward Ollie. MIA: (CONT'D) And for the record, I agree with Vic and Bart. Ollie looks almost betrayed. OLLIE: Et tu? MIA: All were doing is playing clean up on aisle four. Ollie looks at the Vics steadfast resolve. VIC: What if we could prevent them from becoming criminals, from using their powers for personal gain? Ollie looks like he is verbally being backed into the corner. He slowly walks away before the tension reaches a fever pitch. Mia does a double take at Chloe. She sees how visibly shaken Chloe is. OLLIE (O.S.): Ill think about it.

Mia walks toward Chloe. Ollie walks toward the kitchen area. BART: Thats what you always-Ollie interrupts Bart with a stern look on his face. OLLIE: I said, Ill think about it. As Ollie walks away, Mia puts her hand on Chloes shoulder. MIA: Whats wrong? CHLOE: Its-All three young adults pay close attention as Chloe tries to gather the words. CHLOE: (CONT'D) Someone wrested away control of the Isis Foundation. Vic and Bart are astonished. Mia is confused. BART: Are you joking? VIC: How did that happen? Mia raises her hand in the air. MIA: Okay, total newb. Whats the Isis Foundation. BART: Its something that was set up as a sort of support group, for kids with abilities. VIC: Please tell me they didnt get any of the Olympus files. The trio follow Chloe as she walks to a computer terminal.

CHLOE: Ive kept the sensitive files on my personal server, but at times had to access them from any of the different Isis offices. Chloe types on the keyboard. CHLOE: (CONT'D) But after running a custom Loop Activity Tracking Information System, I see that someone has been trying to locate the files. VIC: What level of hacker are we talking? CHLOE: These guys are good. Someones done a sweep for any ghost data. If they havent got the files yet, than its only a matter of time. MIA: So, who was it that took Isis from you? Chloe types some more. LOREN JUPITERS (40, White) face appears on the computer. CHLOE: One, Loren Jupiter. BART: You mean the rich dude going around telling teenage metas to stay in school? Vic looks extremely focused on the picture on the screen. CHLOE (O.S.): So far, hes refused my several attempts at an audience. VIC: What if we investigate him? Chloe looks surprised. Mia takes a deep breath, knowing that Ollie will give them crap about this. Bart smiles and nods his head. BART: Alright! Secret mission.

Bart leans on Vics shoulder. BART: (CONT'D) I got your back, leader man. Mia nervously talks, but Chloe looks like she might just go along with Vics plan. MIA: Um, might I remind you guys that we are still unofficially the knights of the kids table! Theres no way that Ollie would go for this. There is a few moments of silence. Chloe then breaks that silence. CHLOE (O.S.): No-They all turn toward Chloe. CHLOE: But I would. Bart and Vic fist bump each other. Mia shrugs. Chloe smiles. CUT: EXT. JUPITERS CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS- DAY There is an overcast with light rainfall. CUT: INT. LOBBY LOREN JUPITER walks very briskly. He is wearing an expensive business suit. He has three security guards with him, all wearing suits. GRANT WILSON (21, White) is the youngest of the security team. He talks with Jupiter while holding an umbrella for him.

GRANT: I know Im not qualified to comment on your financial decisions Mister Jupiter, but actually putting the abandonment option out there if the other shareholders didnt get on board with the new charity initiative? JUPITER: These are sharks Grant. You can try talking, you can try pantomime, but theres only one language they understand and thats blood. CUT: EXT. JUST OUTSIDE OF THE JUPITER BUILDING All four men walk outside. JUPITER: Sometimes, you have to draw a bit of it for the greater good. One of the other guards phone rings. He grabs it and looks at the caller ID. BODYGUARD #1: Sir, its-JUPITER: I know who it is. They can wait. They walk towards a black sedan. JUPITER: (CONT'D) If only silent partners would remain that way ZOOM OUT to half a block away. Bart Allen stands around a corner, keeping an eye on Jupiter. Bart has on his uniform. The hoodie doesnt look suspicious because of the rain. BART: Hes on the move. CUT: EXT. A SIDE STREET TWO BLOCKS AWAY VICTORS POV.

Victor looks at Jupiter and his entourage. There is a red hue to his vision. A data stream, which feeds him intel, appears on the HUD. Zoom around to Vics face as he speaks into his comm. He is in his uniform as well. VIC: Ive got his twenty. CUT: EXT. A ROOFTOP NOT TOO FAR AWAY Mia is perched on the fourth floor rooftop. She wears her uniform for the first time. It is a dark red denim jumpsuit, but there is a yellow logo on the front that looks like an arrowhead. She also has on a yellow poncho, with the hood over her head to protect her from the rain. She has on specialized glasses which have a HUD in them, just like her mentor, Green Arrow. She has a compound bow and arrows ready, just in case. VIC (O.S.): Hows our eye in the sky? Mia taps her inner ear mic. MIA: Drenched. And feeling her immune system taking a beating from this rain. Mia has a perfect view of Jupiters entourage. They are walking toward his car. BART (O.S.): You guys sure Jupiters up to something? I read his files. Mias sarcasm bleeds through MIA: You? Reading a mission brief?

BART (O.S.): First time for everything. Guys even having some old buildings condemned to build the largest free clinic in the midwest. CUT: EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE JUPITER BUILDING Bart keeps a close eye on Jupiters entourage as they get to the car. BART: He seems legit. Bart doesnt notice, but someone in a trenchcoat keeps an eye on him from a distance. It is Al, the one who helped Lilith Clay break into the office earlier. VIC (O.S.): Chloe thought we should keep an eye on him-CUT: EXT. ROOFTOP Mia doesnt notice, but she is being approached on the rooftop by someone in a trenchcoat. It is Toni. VIC (O.S.): So we keep an eye on him. CUT: EXT. SIDE STREET Vic has a confused look on his face. He looks and sees one of Jupiters security force head towards a black sedan. He reaches for the door. Zoom in to Vics cybernetic eye. We once again see the HUD. The car flashes a bright white over and over. The view zooms in on the car. Then to the under carriage. The HUD reads Remote Signal Detonator. Vics eyes widen with panic.

VIC: Impulse! CUT: EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE JUPITER BUILDING Bart looks at Jupiters entourage. VIC (O.S.): Bomb! SLOW MOTION. Bart appears to be moving at normal speed as he runs from the corner that he was watching from. All of the other pedestrians look completely frozen. As he runs away, we see Al, who is also completely still, holding a remote trigger for the bomb. As Bart runs, raindrops explode upon impact. Once he gets to Jupiter, he grabs and pulls him and the bodyguard closest to the car out of the way. NORMAL SPEED. The bomb explodes, sending some of Jupiters men flying. Bart lands on top of Jupiter. People on the street panic. CUT: EXT. ROOFTOP Toni sneaks up on Mia, whose back is to her. Mia clenches her bow, which Toni doesnt see. She has an arrow nocked and ready to fire. Mia quickly turns around and fires the arrow at her. As she does, Toni raises her hand. Her hand begins to glow and her skin changes to silver. Toni fires an energy blast at the arrow, disintegrating it. She prepares to fire another blast, but Mia cracks her in the jaw with her bow. Toni catches her balance and fires another blast. Mia blocks it with her bow, but it splits the bow in two.

15.

Toni gets ready to fire another blast, but Mia does a kick to her stomach, sending her reeling. Tonis skin turns back to normal. They face off, about to go hand to hand. CUT: EXT. SIDE STREET Vic takes two steps, about to run to help Bart, but something stops him in his tracks. He holds his head. Suddenly, he hears voices in his mind. He falls to one knee. We see someone in a trenchcoat walk up to him. From this angle, we can only see the coat and their feet. CUT: EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE JUPITER BUILDING Bart coughs as he covers Jupiters body to protect him. He slowly rolls over. Jupiter moans as he is in pain. He is alright though. Bart looks up and is greeted by the rest of Jupiters security detail, their guns pointed at him. Bart is too weak to escape or fight back. His eyes roll a bit, then his head hits the concrete. He passes out. CUT: EXT. ROOFTOP Mia is sent reeling backwards and hits the doorway to the roof. Toni throws a punch at her, but Mia grabs her arm and spins her around to a hammerlock/chokehold. MIA: So, care to spill? Nnnghhhh! Whyd you try to kill Jupiter? Toni escapes the chokehold and flips Mia over her head and to the ground.

16.

Mia uses her legs to trip up Toni and she falls to the ground as well. CUT: EXT. SIDE STREET Vic is still on his knees. He hears multiple voices in his head. He now sees Liliths face. She uses her mental powers to attack Vic. She tries to communicate with him telepathically. LILITH (V.O.): Who are you? Mercenaries, hired to protect Jupiter? Or were you trying to take him out as well? Vics point of view. His HUD flashes Mental Breach. Psionic Defenses Activated. Vic gets to his feet. He is resisting Lilith. LILITH (V.O.): (CONTD) You, youre fighting me? Vics leg shakes as he tries to stand up. Lilith fights even more to keep him down. Blood trickles down her nose. AL (V.O.): Abort! Lilith responds to the mental scream. LILITH (V.O.): What? CUT: EXT. ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE JUPITER BUILDING Al walks very quickly down the block. AL (V.O.): Mission failed. CUT:

EXT. SIDE STREET Lilith eases her grip because she is distracted. AL (V.O.): Jupiters still alive. CUT: EXT. ROOFTOP Toni and Mia both are on the ground. Tonis back is against the ledge of the roof. Mias back is to the door of the roof. She pulls out a mini-crossbow. Toni points her fist at Mia. Her skin turns silver again as she charges up another blast. She also hears Al in her ear mic. AL (V.O.): Repeat, abort mission. Toni and Mia stare each other down for a few seconds, neither flinching. Toni suddenly aims her fist downward, toward the floor. She fires an energy blast. Mia is hit by a blast wave of rubble and soot. She tries to get her bearings. CUT: EXT. SIDE STREET A palpable fear is visible on Liliths face now that Vic is to his feet. He is fighting off Liliths powers. Vics left eye now glows red. His hand vibrates as it builds up a charge of sonic energy. He raises his fist towards Lilith. Behind Vic, someone tags him with a taser. It pierces his skin. Then an electric charge is sent throughout his body. Vics HUD flashes Warning! Voltage Disabling Primary Systems. Warning! Vic shakes and he falls back against the wall of the building that they are next to.

His fist strikes the building, releasing the sonic charge that he had built up. He punches the corner clean off of the building. Lilith has to protect herself from flying rubble. She looks and sees that Al tagged him with the taser. AL: We have to get the hell out of here. Al runs and Lilith begins to pursue. She stops. She turns around and sees Vic on the ground. For a moment, she hesitates. She then walks back to Vic. LILITH: Not without him. Al stops in his tracks. He turns around with a dumbfounded look. AL: Hello? Homeland security will be here any minute. Lilith tries to lift Cyborg. LILITH: Which is why, Nnnggggghhh, we dont leave evidence behind. Als eyes drift upward. He is pissed, but realizes he has no choice. He goes over to help Lilith. CUT: EXT. ROOFTOP Mia wipes soot off of her face. She looks at the floor. There is a gaping hole that goes straight down all four floors. Toni got away. Mia runs to the ledge. She sees that Jupiter, his security detail and Bart are gone. A black SUV speeds down the block and turns down a side street. There is no way she can catch it. She taps her ear mic. MIA: Impulse, whats your status? Impulse???

She looks to the other side of the street where Vic was positioned. She sees that he is gone. She taps her ear mic again. MIA: (CONT'D) Cyborg, Do you copy? Still no response. She makes one last call. MIA: (CONT'D) Speedy to Watchtower. CHLOE (O.S.): Go ahead. MIA: Jupiter was attacked. They knew exactly when to hit him. This was well planned. CUT: INT. WATCHTOWER Chloe watches everything that is going on downtown on a large screen. There are four other smaller screens showing the disaster. Three of the screens show nothing but static. She taps away at her keyboard. CHLOE: Too well planned. They also knew to disable streetlight and ATM cameras. MIA (O.S.): Theres something else. Impulse and Cyborg-Chloe has a concerned look on her face. MIA (O.S.): (CONTD) Theyre not answering. BACK: EXT. ROOFTOP Mia panics because she hears sirens approaching.

20.

CHLOE (O.S.): Get out of there. The cops hauling you in is the worst possible hat trick we could have today. Rendezvous at sundown. Mia fires her crossbow at a building across the street. It has a rope/grapple on it. She swings off. FADE: EXT. CONSTRUCTION AREA- DAY A hospital has been halfway constructed here, but there is no activity on the outside. CUT: INT. HOSPITAL- DAY Bart lies in a hospital bed with an I.V. in his arm. He is unconscious. He is wearing a standard hospital gown. He begins to stir. Finally, his eyes open. He sees a doctor (20s, Black) and nurse approaching him. Bart nervously fiddles with the I.V. line, he prepares to yank it. DOCTOR DUNCAN: Sir, please. You need to relax. BART: Dont tell me to relax, you relax. JUPITER (O.S.): Its alright! Loren Jupiter walks into the room. He is accompanied by Grant Wilson. JUPITER: That will be all, Doctor Duncan. Doctor Duncan looks like he disagrees with Jupiter, but he gives a grudging nod. He and the Nurse leave the room.

JUPITER: (CONT'D) Malcolm is a great physician. Hired him on after he cared for my exwife. She--died in a car crash some time ago. Bart nods. Jupiter walks closer to Bart. JUPITER: (CONT'D) Youre wounds have healed, abnormally fast, if you dont mind my saying so. How are you feeling? Bart changes position and sits on the edge of the bed. He winces, then massages a pain to the back of his head. BART: A bomb blew up in my face. How do you think I feel? Grant steps toward Bart. GRANT: Hey, youd be in a regular hospital, waiting to be handed over to the cops if it werent for Mister Jupiter, so show some respect, Bart! Bart leans toward Grant, showing no fear. BART: How do you know my name? GRANT: I make it my business to know about potential threats, like you and your pals. JUPITER: Grant! Look Bart, Im going to ask that you just trust me. Bart points toward the Doctor and Nurse in the next room. BART: Some off the grid hospital with Annie Wilkes looking after me doesnt exactly speak trust. The Nurse looks at Bart from the other room with a look of disdain on her face.

JUPITER: Fair enough. You did save my life, after all. Grant has an upset look on his face when Jupiter states this. JUPITER: (CONT'D) Get dressed. Then Ill show you around Kingdom Hospital as you seem hellbent to make it out to be. Bart grabs his clothes. JUPITER: (CONT'D) Maybe then, you could explain the inner ear mic you had. Barts eyes widen. BART: The guys! CUT: INT. WATCHTOWER Chloe is at her computer terminal. She looks at maps and video footage, trying to desperately find Vic and Bart. Mia is a few feet behind her. She paces back and forth nervously. MIA: I shouldve done another sweep of the area. Or set up a crime scene. CHLOE: <Still typing> Im sure Metropolis S.C.U. already has it covered. MIA: But Vic and Bart, what happened to them, its on me. Chloes back is to Mia. She stops typing. CHLOE: No Mia, its on me. Chloe takes a deep breath, then turns around.

CHLOE: (CONT'D) Im the one that brought you all into this. Somehow, Ill find a way out. Mia walks up to Chloe to see the monitors better. MIA: Anyone we can call in for backup? CHLOE: Clark is undercover on a case. Theres also something big going on in Rhode Island which is being investigated by Jonn, Arthur, Ollie and Dinah. Chloe shrugs off the brief thought of something going on between Ollie and Dinah. She goes back to typing. CHLOE: (CONT'D) Cant track the signal on Barts communicator. It went out at the exact same time as the explosion. Footage of the explosion comes up on the screen. CHLOE: (CONT'D) But, some of the footage I was able to recover showed Bart being escorted by Jupiter and his entourage. The camera picks up Grant as he pushes Jupiter and a woozy Bart into the back of a Black SUV. Chloe has an inquisitive look. CHLOE: (CONT'D) Hmmm. MIA: Hmmm? Whats hmm? Chloe types away. The screen magnifies Grants face. CHLOE: Ive come across that face before. MIA: Come across as in bumped into at the grocery store, or come across as in within important watchtower files?

24.

Chloes facade is more intense. She types away without responding. MIA: (CONT'D) O-Kay. Im gonna go out on a limb and say its option B. CHLOE: Between that and Vics internal GPS down, Im about to-Suddenly, on the monitor, a scrambled caller-ID appears. MIA: Whos that? CHLOE: Its Bart. Chloe walks over to get her earpiece. MIA: Great, one mystery resolved. Chloe answers the call from Bart, while Mia continues to talk to herself. CHLOE: Nice of you to finally check in. MIA: But wheres Vic? CUT: EXT. A RUNDOWN OLD TENEMENT- DAY Several barrels have fires burning within. They keep homeless drifters warm. CUT: INT. TENEMENT Vic is being led by Lilith. Al and Toni follow behind them. VIC: Hmm. Vics HUD. It states Twenty-One Minutes Until Complete Offensive System Restore.

LILITH: What? Normal view. Lilith stops. VIC: Only thing more cliche would be you operating out of a cave somewhere. Toni snatches Vic by the hoodie and turns him around. They all stop. TONI: You think were terrorists? VIC: If the bomb fits. Toni and Al step towards Vic. Vic steps toward them as well. Lilith steps in between them and holds them away from each other. LILITH: We dont have time for this right now. Toni and Al back down. So does Vic. He looks at a unique charm on Liliths necklace. It is a Rembrandt Tarot Card charm. They all resume walking. They pass numerous youngsters, who are dressed in ragged clothes. VIC: This some kind of homeless shelter? AL: Something like that. Vic and the others walk by a group of four teenagers sitting around a small fire. They all nod at Lilith. LILITH: Hello Cody, Audrey, Fringe, Isaiah-One blonde haired boy named Cody (15, White) sits with his back to us. One named Audrey (16, White) points a flashlight at herself. Suddenly, bright light emits from her entire body. One, who also has his back to us (17, unknown) notices out the corner of his eye that Vic is staring at him.

He turns partially toward Vic. He has a feral like face and a red painted tattoo over the top left side of his face. As Vic keeps walking, he sees that the fire is generated by the fourth teenager named Isaiah (17, Black). VIC: So, youre all meta-humans. LILITH: Yes. VIC: Were all of you born that way? Al and Toni look at each other with an ominous look. LILITH: Cmon, we need to talk. Vic stops walking. VIC: Talk about what? How you tried to kill an innocent man, or how you have me here as your prisoner? Lilith stops at a doorway. LILITH: Firstly, Loren Jupiter is far from innocent. And secondly-She opens the door. It is a sophisticated surveillance room, nowhere near as advanced as Watchtower, but impressive nonetheless. The monitor has a feed from a camera trained on Loren Jupiters hospital under construction. LILITH: (CONT'D) We didnt bring you here as a prisoner, Victor Stone. We brought you here to show you that were more alike than you know. Victor is taken aback by what she says. CUT: INT. HOSPITAL- DAY Loren Jupiter gives Bart a tour of the facility. Grant follows behind.

They look at very nice living quarters, which right now are empty. JUPITER: This is our long term living facility. Weve encountered some children with gifts such as yours, whose parents were unable or unwilling to live with the burden of it all. I wanted to provide an alternative. Bart still marvels at the size of the place. Jupiter has an inquisitive look as he turns toward Bart. JUPITER: (CONT'D) So, where are your parents anyway? Bart is surprised by the question. He is very animated with his hand gestures. BART: Oh, pfft, you know. Far, like far away. Jupiter nods his head, although his face reveals that he doesnt believe Bart. BART: (CONT'D) Youve sold me. No need for the used car salesman shtick. JUPITER: Well, apparently not everyone else is sold. Otherwise you and whomever your associates are that you checked in with wouldnt have had to shadow me. Bart raises an eyebrow. GRANT: You werent exactly incognito. Bart rolls his eyes. JUPITER: Have you heard the name Lilith Clay? BART: Here and there. Jupiter and Grant look at each other. BART: (CONT'D) What? They both look at Bart with a weighty demeanor. BART: (CONT'D) You think she was-JUMP CUT: INT. TENEMENT Al throws a bunch of files on the table next to Vic. Vic picks them up and looks through them. LILITH: Responsible? Of course Jupiter was. Just look. Lilith points to a photo of a young red-headed girl (13, White). LILITH: (CONT'D) Weathers, Kole. Has the ability to transmute her skin into gemstone. Lilith pulls a picture from the middle of the folder. This is a brown haired boy (16, White) LILITH: (CONT'D) Emerson, Grant. Can build up potential energy and release it. The resulting discharge causing serious damage. Lilith pulls a photo from the back of the file. Another girl (17, White), with short silver hair. LILITH: (CONT'D) Allen, Amy. Her powers are classified, but they saw fit to line her room with Uranium-238. VIC: Shes like a nuclear bombshell or something?

LILITH: You know the common theme with all of the kids? Lilith hands Vic another piece of paper. It has medical records on them. LILITH: (CONT'D) They werent born like that, or got their abilities in some freak accident-Al and Toni both look at Vic while he reads the files. LILITH: (CONT'D) They were used as guinea pigs, Victor. Lilith slowly walks up to Vic, who is once again speechless. She puts her hand on Vics chest. Vic takes a deep breath. She touched a nerve. LILITH: (CONT'D) Just like you. JUMP CUT: INT. HOSPITAL Jupiter, Bart and Grant walk down a long hallway. JUPITER: Just like you. We need someone who could be a--mascot so to speak. Someone who has used his abilities to help others. Metas wont be urban legends, hiding on the fringes of society forever. Bart stops and seriously thinks about the offer. JUPITER: (CONT'D) You could do so much more good. A cell phone rings. Grant looks at his cell phone and sees the caller ID. He then looks to Jupiter. GRANT: Sir? Jupiter takes the phone. He then looks at Bart.

JUPITER: Excuse me for a moment. Jupiter takes a few steps away. JUPITER: (CONT'D) Persistence. Youre making it a quality I no longer admire. TESS (O.S.): Well, my apologies. I was concerned about your well being. I checked with your private physician-CUT: INT. LUTHORCORP OFFICE- DAY There is someone sitting at a chair, turned around to look out of the window. JUPITER (O.S.): Considering that I requested total media blackout, I wasnt expecting anyone to know the specifics. The chair turns around to face us. Its occupant is Tess Mercer. TESS: Im not anyone, Loren. CUT: INT. HOSPITAL Jupiter steps outside of the room. TESS (O.S.): I strongly reiterate my concerns about you going public with the care facility. JUPITER: This is a special needs facility. We have kids with special needs. Its that simple. CUT:

INT. LUTHORCORP OFFICE Tess gets out of the chair and walks around the desk. TESS: Not when that special need is me designing facilities for walking WMDs its not. Youre trying to score P.R. brownie points when we dont even know if we can help all of these kids yet. JUPITER (O.S.): Thats your job. Your scientists and my doctors, working to assist or cure those with extreme conditions. Im still waiting on the results with the last group we took in. This would be easier if I had access to your testing wing. Tess computer is up. It is a camera feed, viewing three children sitting in their cells. Kole Weathers sits down in the fetal position in her cell. Grant Emerson sits on the floor and taps on it over and over. Amy Allen grabs a chair and slings it toward the camera. TESS: The doctors have been giving you regular updates, have they not? Youll have the results very soon. Tess hangs up. She pauses for a moment. She then begins to text on her cell phone. TEXT: Jupiter not backing down. Keep eye on him. Anyone that could compromise objective, eliminate. She presses the send button on her phone. CUT: INT. HOSPITAL Jupiter looks like he is full of doubt, like he is having misgivings about dealing with Tess. He walks up to Bart. Grant looks at him closely.

JUPITER: Come. Grant, make sure we get regular updates from the patrols. Bart, we sure could use your help. They might take another shot at me. Or worse, the hospital-JUMP CUT: INT. TENEMENT Lilith has a small group of her followers there as she speaks to Vic. LILITH: Must be shut down, by force if necessary. We cant sit by and do nothing. Lilith looks toward Vic as if waiting on a response. He hesitates for a moment, but finally steps toward the center of the group. VIC: Youre right, we cant. Al, Toni and Lilith all smile. CUT: EXT. WATCHTOWER- SUNSET A rainbow fights through the clouds as the late afternoon showers fall. CUT: INT. WATCHTOWER Chloe has her earpiece in as she works on her computer. She looks up birth records and military files on Grant Wilson. CHLOE: Im positive. I checked out Jupiter and all of his staff. This Grant Wilson came up clean. Almost too clean. Ex-military, seems like his whole family is. (MORE)

CUT: EXT. BALCONY OF GRANT WILSONS APARTMENT- SUNSET An arrow with wire coming out of it hits the guardrail of the balcony. MIA (O.S.): Youre sure that this takes precedence over finding the guys? Mia, wearing her Speedy costume and a yellow hooded parka, lowers herself via the wire and lands on the balcony. CHLOE (O.S.): Impulse already checked in and hes fine. Hell be able to cover more ground and find Cyborg quicker. Mia takes off one of her gloves. She has numerous lock picking tools taped to her wrist. MIA: So that leaves breaking and entering for me. Glad you trust me so much. She slides out a pick and a turning tool and goes to work on the lock. CHLOE (O.S.): Hey, you guys wanted to play in the big leagues. This is all par for the course. MIA: Good to know. CUT: INT. WATCHTOWER Chloe sees her phone ring. She grabs it and reads a text message. TEXT: Im ok. Dont Send Cavalry. Going Epsilon--C.

The sender reads Unknown. Chloe angrily whispers CHLOE: This day just keeps getting better. MIA (O.S.): What is it? Chloe doesnt look all that comforted with Vic checking in. CHLOE: Cyborg checked in. MIA (O.S.): Thats a good thing right? Chloe hesitates before answering. CHLOE: Hes gone Epsilon. CUT: EXT. BALCONY Mia finally gets the lock open. MIA: And Epsilon is??? CHLOE (O.S.): Hes gone deep cover. MIA: And since Impulse is with Jupiter, that means Cyborg is with the people who attacked him. Great. She cracks the door open slightly. MIA: (CONT'D) Not sure what kind of security measures are in here. Radio silence for now. Speedy out. Mia presses the button on her ear mic.

She enters the penthouse apartment and looks around. She sees framed pictures of Grant and a younger curly blonde haired boy who looks somewhat depressed and bleach blonde girl who has a seductive look on her face. They appear to be his brother and sister. As Mia walks through the place, she notices a computer. She sits down and places a memory stick into the USB port. On the screen, the words Data Hound Searching flashes on and off. A file comes up. It flashes to different pages of contracts that Grant has taken. Each has pictures from the wake of one of his missions. One from Afghanistan, one from Venezuela and another from West Africa. They all have Codename: Ravager on them. Finally, a file of wire transactions can be seen. MIA: (CONT'D) Hmmm. Mia clicks the mouse on that file. It opens and reads First Founders Bank of Zurich on the top. The Payees name is Wintergreen Solutions. It also says A subsidiary of LuthorCorp on it. Mias eyes widen and she whispers to herself. MIA: (CONT'D) Jackpot. Mia is suddenly blindsided by a blow to the back of the head. As she falls out of the chair and to the ground, the man that was stalking Lilith Clays group at the beginning holds an escrima stick in his hand. RAVAGER: No. Loose end. CUT: EXT. HOSPITAL- NIGHT A van pulls up, just down the block from Jupiters care facility. CUT:

INT. INSIDE OF THE VAN- NIGHT Lilith uses binoculars to look at the multiple security guards around the place. LILITH: Theyve beefed up security. Vic is in the passengers seat. Al, Toni and the other kid Cody are in the back of the van. AL: Well, escalation is a two way street. Al packs explosive devices into a duffel bag. Vic looks back toward them. The look on his face reveals his displeasure at their course of action. He then turns back and looks at Lilith and the charm around her neck. VIC: Whats the charm for? Lilith holds the charm lovingly. LILITH: Its a Rembrandt Tarot Card charm. My mom gave it to me before, before she-Lilith bites her bottom lip, then looks out into the distance. VIC: Im sorry. Lilith gets out of the van. Toni sarcastically chides Vic. TONI: Hope youre better in a fight than you are with bonding. VIC: Oh yeah, about that. Once Lilith has closed the door behind her, Vic presses a subcutaneous button on his right wrist. A beeping sound can be heard. After the beep is a near deafening sonic burst. Al, Toni and Cody all hold their ears, but to no avail. The auditory assault renders the three unconscious.

VIC: (CONT'D) Sorry, but no ones dying on my watch. Vic gets out of the van and runs over to catch up with Lilith. LILITH: Where are the others? VIC: Prepping the party favors. Vic sees that Lilith isnt approaching the finished part of the facility, but the part that looks like it is still under construction. VIC: (CONTD) Um, why are we approaching the unfinished part of the complex. They get to a pile of large rocks and rubble. Lilith kneels down and starts removing the debris. LILITH: Because, according to our intel-A metallic part of a wall is now visible through the rubble. It is a hidden underground facility. Lilith turns and looks at Vic. LILITH: (CONT'D) Its not unfinished. CUT: INT. HOSPITAL- NIGHT Jupiter is in his office, surrounded by security guards. He is on his cell phone. JUPITER: Dammit Grant, you said youd be back immediately. Call me back as soon as you get this message. A gust of wind sends the papers on Jupiters desk flying. His security guards grab their sidearms, but pause once they see that it is just Bart, running into the room at super speed. BART: Did a fourth sweep of the facility. Nothing.

Jupiter walks to his chair and sits down. BART: (CONT'D) Ive got to ask dude. Why are you doing-Bart waves his hand, gesturing that he means the whole facility. BART: (CONTD) This? JUPITER: Every right implies a responsibility; Every opportunity, an obligation, Every possession, a duty. Rockefeller said that. Jupiter looks at a calendar on his desk. BART: I noticed that theres some holes in the security over in the East Wing. JUPITER: Oh, thats under construction. Nothing down there of any value or interest. CUT: INT. HIDDEN UNDERGROUND COMPLEX- NIGHT Ants eye view of the ceiling, while passing by some cold fluorescent lights. Passing by doorways of what look like holding cells. At each door, there is a small window. At each window, there is a young child or teenager looking out of it. A figure dressed in dark clothing hall. drags someone down the

The person that he is dragging is revealed as Mia. He hasnt even bothered to take her hood or costume off. Her hands and feet are tied. It is visible now that it is Ravager that drags her. He finds an empty cell and drags her unconscious body into the cell. He then comes out of it, and closes the door. An automatic lock seals.

Ravager pulls out his cell phone. He sees seven missed calls. He dials, then waits until the other line picks up. RAVAGER: Yes. We have a problem. Ive been made. CUT: EXT. LUTHOR MANSION- NIGHT There is an eerie stillness to the estate. CUT: INT. LUTHOR MANSION Tess Mercer walks down a hallway while talking on her phone. TESS: Youd damn well better be certain. An inordinate sum of money has gone into this expansion of Project Thirty-Three point One. Im not about to fold just because you think some costumed nut job dug up some dirt on you. CUT: INT. HIDDEN UNDERGROUND FACILITY Ravager is now in the main office. He throws down Mias crossbow on the table. He nervously looks out of a window towards Mias cell. RAVAGER: Yet you dont want me to kill her? TESS (O.S.): Most of these year round trick-ortreaters tend to have meta-human abilities. I want to run some tests on her. If shes deemed useless, then youll eliminate her. Ravager nods his head. He then hangs up. CUT:

EXT. CONSTRUCTION AREA Vic motions for Lilith to move away from the wall. He then balls his hand into a fist. VIC: Stand back. I got this. Vics fist glows with a blue glow as it vibrates rapidly. He swings at the metallic wall. The first impact dents the wall in. The second sends a piece of the metal wall flying in. CUT: INT. UNDERGROUND FACILITY The impact is felt all the way in the main office as Ravagers eyes widen with panic. He darts towards an electronic doorway. He presses some buttons on a keypad and the door opens. He walks in, then the door closes behind him. When he passed Mias cell, he didnt notice her eyes open. She listens for his footsteps getting further away. She then uses her teeth to roll down her glove. Her lockpick kit is once again revealed. CUT: INT. HOSPITAL The impact of the blast is also felt here. Jupiters guards move in and surround him to protect him. BART: Im on it. Bart runs off. CUT: INT. VAN The impact of the blast is also felt here, which wakes up the unconscious Toni, Al and Cody. Toni holds her head because of a migraine. TONI: What happened?

AL: What do you think? Vic Benedict Arnolded us. CODY: So, missions off? Al looks at the explosives in the duffel bag. AL: No way. Not when weve come this far. CUT: INT. MAIN CORRIDOR OF UNDERGROUND COMPLEX Vic and Lilith walk into the main corridor. They see the kids in the cells. LILITH: Weve got to get these kids out. VIC: Not until were sure there are no hostiles. Suddenly, Bart runs into the room at super speed. BART: Cant believe Jupiter didnt know about this place. He turns and sees Vic. He also gives an untrusting look toward Lilith. BART: (CONT'D) Okay, which team are you playing for? LILITH: He didnt know? Vic puts his hands up. VIC: We all have the same objective here. CUT:

EXT. THE OUTER WALL OF THE COMPLEX Toni, Al and Cody plant explosives along the walls of the complex. BACK: INT. UNDERGROUND FACILITY Bart, Vic and Lilith continue down the corridor. VIC: First we do a sweep of the area, then we start freeing these kids. BART: I think I counted eighteen cells we need to pop. MIA (O.S.): Seventeen. They all turn to see Mia coming out of the open cell. She finishes undoing the restraints around her wrists. BART: Arrow Junior. MIA: I hate when you call me that. Mia walks past Bart. BART: Arrowette? MIA: Not funny. Mia elbows the glass of the office that Ravager was in, shattering it. She puts her hand inside the broken window and unlocks the door. Once shes inside, she grabs her crossbow. Bart follows her in. VIC: O-kay. I assume you know whos running this show. MIA: The same person that abducted me.

Bart turns and notices a key chain with a bunch of data sticks on it. He snatches it. Mia and Bart walk out of the room. Bart tosses the key chain to Vic. He grabs it, then looks at Bart with an inquisitive look. BART: Well, youre the technical expert. Technically whats that look like to you? Vic gives the sticks a look over. VIC: Key cards. Vic hands them to Lilith. VIC: (CONT'D) You wanted to help these kids? Well, this is the way to do it. Lilith nods to Vic. She frantically runs toward the cells to start freeing them. Vic, Mia and Bart walk over to the electronic doorway that Ravager went through. Vic pulls a wire out from his forearm and plugs it into the keypad. His left eye glows red while a data stream pops up in his cybernetic eye. BART: So, how tough is this dude? The door clicks and opens. MIA: He blindsided me. I didnt get a chance to see what hes capable of. The three walk into a large dark room. They stop once they see Ravager on an elevated platform. He has a sword and a shotgun on his person. They stare down Ravager in silence. He does the same. SLOW MOTION. Bart runs toward Ravager. Suddenly, a current in the floor sends electricity through Barts body. He is sent flying by the feedback. He crashes into a wall. NORMAL SPEED.

Bart gets up and tries to run at super speed again. The same results. RAVAGER (O.S.): Sensors detect anything faster than a light jog and the feedback will fry you. A smoke grenade rolls by Vic and Mia. It goes off. The smoke obscures their vision. Vics P.O.V. He changes from normal vision to night vision. And then from night vision to thermal vision. At the last second he puts up his arm to block a swipe from Grants sword. Sparks and wires can be seen through the wound in his arm. Grant was counting on Vic blocking the attack, so he spins around to Vics other side and slaps a wristwatch looking device on Vics wrist. A confused look on Vics face appears as he suddenly freezes. Vics P.O.V. We now see a warning flashing over and over on his HUD stating Firewall Compromised. Computer Virus Detected. Mia kicks the sword out of Ravagers hand. She then throws a punch, which Ravager dodges. He grabs her arm and spins her around for a hammerlock. Mia throws her head back for a head butt. Ravager releases Mia to nurse his jaw. She goes for a sweep kick, but Ravager does a crescent kick and when his boot comes downward, it knocks her down. CUT: INT. MAIN CORRIDOR OF UNDERGROUND COMPLEX Liliths hand swipes down with a key stick on one of the locks. The cell opens. Another lock is swiped with another stick. And then another. Half of the cells are now open. As the kids escape, Toni, Al and Cody run toward Lilith. AL: Cmon, weve got to book. LILITH: Whats going on? TONI: Your new recruit sucker punched us.

AL: But thats okay, we still got the bombs planted. Lilith has a sheer panic on her face. LILITH: Oh no. TONI: What? Lilith hands the key sticks to Cody. LILITH: Youve got to get the rest of these kids out of here. She looks at Al and Toni. LILITH: (CONT'D) You two need to evacuate everyone from the main facility, including Jupiter. Al and Toni cant believe their ears. AL: All that mind reading finally cause you to blow a gasket? TONI: Why the hell should we save him? LILITH: Because he didnt know about any of the crap that was going on here. Lilith runs toward the fight with Ravager. TONI: Where are you going? LILITH: Some people need my help. CUT: INT. INSIDE OF THE MAIN CHAMBER Mia is on the floor holding her ribs.

Vic fights to get to his feet. He sees Ravager grab his shotgun and takes aim at Bart, who is regaining consciousness. Vic fights to take another step, then another. He then takes a giant leap. As Ravager fires his shotgun at Bart, Vic jumps in the way and takes the blast. The shot sends him flying back at a wall. There is now a large gaping wound in him. Wires and components are exposed. Sparks come out of the wound. MIA: No! BART: Vic? Vic looks at the wound. He then has a look of fear on his face. He falls to one knee. Ravager walks up to them. Bart tries to sit up, but is still in pain from the multiple electrocutions and impacts. BART: (CONT'D) Should have known youd put up a good fight. Nngggh. You did say that you made it your business to know about potential threats, like me and my pals. Ravager pauses. He then takes his mask off. It is Grant Wilson. BART: (CONT'D) How could you betray Jupiter? And all hes trying to do? GRANT: One, I dont trust wild cards like you metas, who dont show allegiance to any one flag or entity. Two-Grant points his shotgun at Bart and Mia. GRANT: (CONT'D) He wasnt paying nearly enough. Grant loses his balance and the shotgun falls out of his hand. A sudden wave of psychic energy overwhelms him. He hears voices in his head.

GRANT (V.O.): Not good enough! Never love you as much as he does Rose and Joey! Youre a disgrace to the service! Lilith walks into the room. She is using her mental powers on Grant. Mia tries to get to her feet. She is in intense pain. Bart as well. They both crawl over to Vic to check on his condition. BART: Awww, geez. Youre gonna be alright, boss man. VIC: Weve got, weve got one chance. So pay attention. Grant lumbers toward Lilith inch by inch. Lilith is in shock that Grant wont go down. LILITH (V.O.): How are you fighting me? Grant picks up his sword. Lilith backs up slowly, but Grant is in pursuit. GRANT (V.O.): Tess is using you! Not as good as Dad. Will never be as good as Dad!!! Grant pauses. He feels something is up. He turns around and uses his sword to block two arrows fired by Mia, while a third one whizzes past him. GRANT: Your aim sucks MIA: Does it? Grant turns around and sees that the third arrow hit the power box powering the electric speed trap. Sparks come out of the box. Immediately, Bart whizzes by and punches Grant. Bart then grabs Lilith and hauls tail for the exit. While Grant tries to regain his balance, he turns and Vic is there, waiting for him.

His fist is charged with sonic energy. Vic delivers an uppercut that sends Grant flying. He is knocked unconscious. Bart zooms Lilith to the exit and drops her off. LILITH: You have to get the others out. Bart looks confused. LILITH: (CONT'D) This place has been rigged to blow. Barts eyes widen. He rushes back in, while Lilith runs to a safe distance. Bart runs in and snatches Mia and Vic by their hoodies. He runs as fast as he can with them in tow. He makes it to the exit. CUT: INT. INSIDE OF THE MAIN CHAMBER Grant awakens. He tries to crawl towards the exit. CUT: EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE COMPLEX Bart drops off Mia and Vic at a safe distance. He turns and tries to run back for Grant. But massive explosions rock the entire complex. The underground chamber is the first to go up, but the topside hospital is soon to follow. CUT: EXT. JUST UP THE BLOCK Loren Jupiter, his security team and all of the patients at his care facility have been evacuated by Al, Toni and Cody. Jupiter looks on as his dream goes up in flames. CUT: EXT. WATCHTOWER- DAY Sunrise over Metropolis.

CLARK (O.S.): I cant believe you sanctioned this, Chloe. CUT: INT. WATCHTOWER Clark and Ollie look extremely upset. OLLIE: You run an op and keep us in the dark about it. CLARK: You dont notify us when the team is in trouble. OLLIE: Not even mentioning the thought process of sending off the kids by themselves. Chloe puts her hands in a position to signal a time-out. CHLOE: Whoa! Tomax and Xamot. While Ive had fun playing Lets kick Chloe while shes down, you forgot one simple thing. Clark and Ollie look confused. CHLOE: (CONT'D) They arent just kids. You recruited them. You put them on the front lines long before I ever became youre eyes in the skies. Ollie and Clark look at each other. CHLOE: (CONT'D) If you could trust them then, cant you trust their judgement now? OLLIE: In other words, you want me to say Vic was right. Chloe smiles at him.

CHLOE: Would it hurt to acknowledge that? Or that maybe, hes ready for a bigger role? Clark has a smile on his face. He agrees with Chloe. He turns toward Ollie. Ollie grudgingly smirks. He agrees as well. CUT: EXT. JUPITERS CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS- DAY The sun is brightly reflecting off of the giant glass and metal building. JUPITER (O.S.): Trust me, no charges will be pressed. CUT: INT. INSIDE OF JUPITERS TOP FLOOR OFFICE Vic, Mia, Bart and Lilith stand before Jupiter, who is seated at his desk. Bart and Mia have bruises on their faces. Vics arm is in a sling and his abdomen is bandaged up. JUPITER: Grant, a damn traitor. Wish he was alive just so he could face justice. It just infuriating that my lawyers werent able to build anything solid against Tess Mercer. BART: <Snicker> MIA: Everyone finds themselves in that position at one time or another. Lilith walks up to Jupiter. LILITH: I really cant explain how truly sorry I am for all the stuff thats gone down.

She extends her hand for him to shake. Jupiter is about to shake her hand. JUPITER: Its quite alright. Well build another center. Vic, Bart and Mia look at each other. Lilith walks over to them. JUPITER: (CONT'D) Kids with abilities like yours need a place to grow and to become the Titans of Tomorrow.
