; Lithograph and Revision Branch
j
As more staff became available during I952 it was possible to reorganize tho
lithe production and revision survey branch as a separato u&. Tho replacement -
1 of dilapidated standard sheets and prepardtionaoflithograph copies of theee sheet8
are now receiving specig attention. As a t e m p o f w measure Johore Snrvey
Office assisted in thc preparation of reproduction tracings during the year and
I
I
seven tracings were compiled-by that office. i

.Many of these records have received little attention since 1941 and the
increase in land dealings after 1948 tended to delay work on them. It is estimated
tbat approximately 15 per cent. of.the staffmust be d i v c ~ e dt o work on these .
rcpords over the next tG6e years in order to bring thim reasonably up to date, .
and to complete preparation of new sheet6 in tho town aroa.
.
