Instructions
1. Do not open this booklet until your proctor instructs you to. 2. This competition consists of fteen questions to be answered over a 75 minute period. 3. Each answer is an integer between 00 and 99 inclusive. Please write both digits of your answer on the score sheet in the indicated boxes. Examples of proper answer format include 05 and 83. 4. A problem correctly answered will receive 10 points, a problem left unanswered will receive 2 points, and a problem incorrectly answered will receive 0 points. 5. No aids other than scratch paper, graph paper and rulers are permitted. Calculators, compasses and protractors are not permitted.

1. Find the value of 32013 + 32014 . 32012 2. In Davids math class, 50% of the students did their homework and 10% of the students who did their homework made no mistakes. If 3 people did their homework and made no mistakes, how many people are in Davids math class? 3. In a triangle, the measure of the largest angle is twice the measure of the smallest angle and the third angle has measure 60 . What is the measure of the largest angle? 4. For what positive integer n does nn have three digits in its decimal representation? 5. If a2 + 4b = 36 and a3 + 4ab + a = 74, what is the value of b? 6. Alyf is buying one chocolate and one vanilla ice cream cone. On each cone, he can either put no topping, sprinkles, cherries, or both sprinkles and cherries. If he chooses cherries, he can pay extra for a cherry sauce coating. In how many ways can Alyf select toppings for his ice cream cones? 7. The numbers x, y and z are positive real numbers. If x2 + y 2 + 2z = 41 and xy z = 4, what is the value of x + y ? 8. Find the number of ordered triples (a, b, c) of distinct positive integers less than or equal to 6 such that b is greater than both a and c. 9. When Simran took the average of all of the grades on the physics test including his grade, the average was 70%. When Simran took the average of the grades on the physics test excluding his mark, the average was 62%. If no one received more than 100%, what is the maximum possible percentage grade Simran could have received?

10. In acute-angled triangle ABC , the point D lies on BC such that AD is perpendicular to BC . If AB = 7, AC = 9 and CD DB = 4, what is the length of segment BC ?

11. A positive integer k between 1 and 100, inclusive, is selected at random. The probability that k 2 + 9k + 8 is divisible by 7 is equal to m/n when expressed as a fully reduced fraction. What is m + n?

12. In trapezoid ABCD, side AB is parallel to side CD. If AB = 4, BC = 3, CD = 8 and DA = 5, what is the area of ABCD?

13. All of the interior angles of convex hexagon ABCDEF have a measure of 120 . If AB = 6, BC = 7, CD = 8 and DE = 9, what is the perimeter of hexagon ABCDEF ?

14. Nathan has a bag containing red, green, yellow and blue marbles. Nathan takes some marbles in his left and right hands so that each of his hands contains at least one marble, no two marbles of the same colour are in one of his two hands, and between his two hands Nathan has at least one marble of each colour. In how many ways can this be done?

15. In triangle ABC , the length of the median from C to AB is 12, the length of the median from B to AC is 9, and BC = 10. What is the length of the median from A to BC ?
