Activity and Movement
The Kirkwood-Webster YMCA kicked off
Summer Camp on June 1, with over 28 camps
to choose from including aquatic, sports, tradi-
tional and many specialty camps. In January, in
partnership with Healthways the YMCA began
offering the Silver Sneakers Program, a joint
effort with secondary insurance companies to
provide membership to seniors as well as exer-
cise classes geared toward seniors. The YMCA
also began the Job Loss Membership program
to assist those having recently lost their jobs.
Through July 3 anyone recently unemployed
can receive a two-month membership. For de-

The Professional Dance Center has been
dedicated to training the area’s youth for over
50 years and is known across the country for
their precision choreography. Thousands of
students have passed through its doors over
the years as both recreational and professional
dancers. Their staff consists of professionals
who have appeared on stages around the world
from Broadway to the Moscow Ballet. Summer
classes July 7 – July 30 are the perfect way to
try the curriculum and/or tune up technique
through the summer months. Fall classes be-

St. Louis Gym Centre (315 W. Pacific,

tial arts instruction for ages one – adult. One
5-day camp plus 1/2 day Monday and Thurs-

Huntington Learning Center, the oldest
provider of supplemental education in the U.S,
believes in their mission of providing the best
education possible for every student. A diagnos-
tic assessment will be given to determine the

YWCA Head Start programs offer unparal-
leled opportunities for children to develop so-
cially, intellectually, physically and emotion-
ally. A teacher and teacher assistant in each
classroom are supported by a team of experts
who, with families, create an integrated early
childhood education experience for children.
The expert team consists of professionals in
child development, nutrition service, health,

Schools
The College School (1 Newport Place,

in joyful, meaningful and creative learning

Faith Community Christian High School

Green Park Lutheran School (4248 Green

education for children in grades kindergarten
through 8th grade. A team approach is utilized
