2 Place Buttons
Use the Keypad Designer to layout the faceplate: Con-
figure each button´s size, position and function.
5 Design Buttons and Background
Use any graphical editor to place images (background
images, button images and text) according to the but-
ton layout.
8 Link Button Functions
Link the button functions to the TD Message and
Parameterization block.
3 Assign Button Functions
Assign Button Functions via selecting from list.
6 Import Completed Layout to Keypad Designer
Import the bitmap image into the Keypad Designer.
Save it as a .TD2 file format.

Print it – Ready to Go
• Use the Keypad Designer to print to a blank, envelope-size face-
plate on a laser printer, or
• use the MS Word Template to position multiple faceplates on an
A-4 size sheet of material, then print on a Laser printer, or
• allow a third party professional print shop to create your faceplates, or
• just use the integrated standard faceplate.
