Affirmative Exposure to cyber bullying negatively impacts student welfare and their ability to learn. There is a direct correlation to increased use of social media and lowered academic achievement. Using social media or being reliant upon it, creates attention deficits amongst learners.

Negative Allows learners to cooperate and collaborate more of their learning. Modern learners best respond to modern techniques which can include use of social networking. Social networking use can help promote higher confidence within / amongst learners

Affirmative 1.Bullying, cyber bullying has student happiness at its lowest and suicide rates at its highest. Hannah Smith the teenage girl had her lovely life destroyed at the age of 14 she committed suicide. Many came to Hannahs funeral and gave condolences such as, You were such a lovely who was full of laughter and joy. Another said, You were one of the most caring genuine people I have ever met. Can you imagine if one your family members had committed suicide because of bullying, take a minute to think about that. 2. Sometimes I believe that parents should ask themselves, not what their kids can do to get better grades but what they are doing to get the grades that they are. Ask yourself does your kid check a social networking device every 15 minutes can they be chatting and working at the same time does chatting with friends help their grades think about it, think about it 3. The impact that technology has on your children depends not on the technology itself, but rather on how you educate them about it and the experiences they have with it. It is your responsibility to become informed about the potential benefits and costs of this new digital age and then make deliberate decisions about the type and quantity of technology you expose your children to. If I were a parent I would not take the chances and take my children off technology. If i was a teacher, i would restrict social media at school as to ensure a learning enviroment and have my students focus on what they need to learn instead of letting them play social media and fail in their studies.
