BALLARAT CLERGY SUPPORT FUND Collection for Sick and Retired Priests The Ballarat Clergy Support Fund provides for retired priests who have spent a lifetime selflessly caring for others, and who deserve a happy and peaceful retirement. The fund is currently supporting and caring for 18 priests. Please give as generously as you can and help us continue caring for those who cared for us. You are still able contribute by using the special envelope provided, or in an envelope marked Ballarat Clergy Support Fund. A credit card facility is available for your convenience, and contributions over $2.00 are tax deductible. Caring for those who cared for us - the Church Communitys responsibility Fr Johns Pilgrimage: See notice board to check on how Fr John has progressed along the Ignatian Way. Australian Catholic Youth Festival: Australian Catholic Bishops invite young people from Year 9 to 25 years to participate in this festival. It will be one of fun, music, talks, workshops & activities celebrating the young heart of the Church. December 5-7 in Melbourne. Chaplaincy: Pastoral care and support in Warrnambools four primary & two secondary Government schools is provided by chaplains sponsored by the Warrnambool & District Chaplaincy Committee. A number of chaplain positions will be vacant in the near future. An information session is being held later his month.
