Sept. 2012Dec. 2012 10 visits total. I implemented 6 lesson pans which followed the Iowa Early Learning Standards and Teaching Standards Gold. These lessons included adaptations for a child with an IFSP. Also conducted a space and time study and observed four hours with a child with an IFSP. Taught 10 lessons to a 5th grade student at the Price Laboratory School in Cedar Falls, IA May 2012 5 hours total. Performed assessments and evaluations on students literacy such as Word List Assessment, Garfield Attitude Survey, three QRI-5 assessments including narrative, expository, and listening passages, Book Interest Inventory. Also collected and analyzed a writing sample and used a variety of instructional strategies: talking drawings, personal vocabulary journal, and anticipation guide.
