BBA (Foreign Trade), BBA and BCA Programs

For admission to these programs, the Institute will conduct group discussion and
interview.
1. Academic Record - 80 marks
Marks for academic record will be awarded out of 100 based on the percentage of
marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying examination.
2. Group Discussion - 10 marks
3. Interview - 10 marks

Note
• There will be no written entrance test for admission.
• Students will be admitted in order of merit determined by total marks obtained by
the candidates in academic record (10+2), group discussion and interview.
• If a candidate selected for admission to a particular program fails to join the
program or abandons the program midway, he may have to go through the entire
selection procedure for admission in future.
• If a candidate selected for admission to a particular program fails to join the
program or abandons the program midway after paying the fee, his fee will not be
refunded under any circumstances.

POINTS TO BE NOTED

• Keep a note of the Application Form Number because this is your Roll Number
for Group Discussion and Interview.
• Appear for Group Discussion, Interview and on the specified date.
• Marks of Group Discussion and Interview will not be disclosed or supplied to the
candidate.

You are required to:

• Check your admission on the Notice Board of the Institute at Indore. Sending you
intimation is only our courtesy not legal obligation.
• Deposit full tuition and other fee on or before prescribed date as soon as you get
information about admission, failing which your admission will stand cancelled.

Group Discussion

The purpose of Group Discussion is to assess the candidate's quality of interaction,

leadership, tolerance, subject knowledge, presentation, command over language,
discipline, manners etc. A panel of experts will assess the candidates. For this, a topic
(any subject) will be given at random to a group of more than two candidates for
discussion for five to ten minutes.

Personal Interview

Candidates who have been called for Group Discussion will also be called for Personal
Interview. The purpose of Interview is to assess the candidate's aptitude, personality,
background, general awareness, disposition, etc. A panel of experts will assess each
candidate individually.

ADMISSION IN NRI/NRI SPONSORED QUOTA

• There are limited numbers of seats (15 percent) available for admission in
NRI/NRI Spondored Quota in the case of MBA (Full Time) program.
• Admission in NRI Quota is made on the basis of the rules and regulation of M. P.
Government.
• Admission in NRI Quota is made on the basis of the merit of qualifying
examination only.
• In all other matters, they rank pari passu with other candidates.
• All candidates seeking admission in NRI/NRI sponsored Quota are advised to
approach the Institute directly for admission in MBA (Full Time) program.

ELIGIBILITY

The eligibility for admission to various programs is as under:

• BBA - 10+2 with 50 percent marks in aggregate.
• BBA (Foreign Trade) - 10+2 with 50 percent marks in aggregate.
• BCA - 10+2 with Mathematics and 50 percent marks in aggregate.

Documents/Certificates required at the time of Admission

For Postgraduate Programs

• Copy of graduation/postgraduation marksheets

• Copy of MPMET - 09 marksheet
• Transfer Certificate (in original)
• Migration Certificate (in original)
• Eligibility Certificate (in original)
• Affidavit (for change in name/surname)
Note:

1. Eligibility Certificate will be directly issued to the candidate by DAVV, Indore.

However, it is not requried if the candidate has completed his/her graduation from
any University of the state of Madhya Pradesh.

2. Migration Certificate will not be required if the candidate has graduated from
DAVV, Indore.

For Under Graduate Programs

• Copy of marksheet of 12th class

• Transfer Certificate (in original)
• Migration Certificate (in original)
• Affidavit (for change in name/surname)

Note: Migration Certificate is not required for all those candidates who have passed their
12th class from M.P. Board.

Instructions for Applying

1. Candidates must ensure their eligibility before filling up the application form. If at
any point of time, it is discovered that the candidate is not eligible for admission,
the form is liable to be rejected without any notice.

2. Cost of the admission form is Rs. 750/- which includes GD/PI fee.

3. Candidates must apply for each program separately. Photocopy of the application
form can be used for applying for multiple programs but each such application
form must be attached with a crossed demand draft of Rs. 750/- in favour of
Prestige Institute of Management and Research payable at Indore.

4. Candidates who have purchased admission form from the office of the Institute by
paying Rs. 750/- need not attach the demand draft. They must attach the receipt of
Rs. 750/-(in original) with the application form.

5. Please fill up the form in capital letters only. Avoid overwriting on the application
form. Illegible forms are liable to be rejected without any notice.

6. Those candidates who apply by downloading the form from website will be
getting their copy of the brochure at the time of GD/PI.

7. Institute will be sending calls for GD/PI to candidates who have applied and are
found to be eligible.
 8. Candidates who do not receive the calls for GD/PI must also appear for the same
as per the schedule.

9. Please bring all certificates/marksheets in original at the time GD/PI.

10. Candidates awaiting their results of qualifying examination must bring an

appearing certificate, at the time of GD/PI from the head of the School/Institute to
this effect.

11. Candidates must preserve a Xerox copy of their application form and demand
draft/receipt in their interest.

12. The Institute will not be liable for postal delays or lost forms.

13. Incomplete forms, forms without demand draft/receipt or delayed forms are liable
to be rejected.

14. Canvassing/recommendation in any form will not be entertained for admission

and the same can disqualify the candidate.

15. In all matters related to admission, the decision of the Director of the Institute will
be final and binding on all.

16. Completely filled up form with relevant documents and receipt/demand draft of
Rs. 750/- must reach the Institute’s office on or before June 06, 2009.

Note: All Admission will be made as per statutory norms.

Application form is available with the Institutes’ office on payment of Rs. 750/- in cash
or a demand draft drawn in favour of Prestige Institute of Management and Research
payable at Indore. Outstation candidates can also download the application form for
admission from the website of the Institute and send the completed application form with
a demand draft of Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of Prestige Institute of Management and
Research payable at Indore.
