We Made It!

September

2013

We didnt bother to count how many see you soons we said, miles we traveled or coffees Alex and I drank. It would be impossible to know how many tears we cried, prayers were prayed and deep breaths to calm oneself were taken. The boys (Alex included) were amazing travelers and excellent dorm dwellers once we arrived at Tyndale Seminary. A week after our big move we signed the papers to rent a house and with the help of students and staff from Tyndale it was ready to move into a week later! The next several weeks were filled with paperwork, Alexs summer Greek

Our vision is to advance Gods global mission by training Christian leaders who will train others in fulfillment of 2 Timothy 2:2.

class 4 days a week, and meeting many new people. We

have found a church nearby that our family is excited to be a part of. It is called Waterlands and the service is in both Dutch and English! In addition to Alexs teaching responsibilities in the Fall he has been appointed to the position of seminary chaplain and is responsible for leading the faculty prayer meeting and organizing chapel services each week. Please pray for him as he shepherds the student body in this capacity outside the classroom! And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 2 Timothy 2:2

Student Highlight:
Meet David from Ghana! He served as a missionary within Ghana for three years before coming to Tyndale and has a passion to return to Ghana after his studies to teach and train others for ministry and outreach. David notes that over half of the population of Ghana would identify themselves as Christians, but that many of these people are nominal Christians in name only and desperately need to encounter and be transformed by Jesus. We have spent

hours this past summer discussing Ghana and David is convinced that intentional discipleship is the answer. I think that Ghana could become a great missionary sending nation in the future; please pray for David as he prepares for future ministry and service in his home country after he graduates this June.

An Unexpected Blessing
We are thankful for an unexpected blessing! Our family is excited to announce we are expecting baby #5! The big brothers have voted: one for a girl, one for a boy, one for a Wii, and one undecided! We have so many things we would love info and let us know how you are via mail, email or Facebook! Praising God:
1. For His grace and comfort as we said lots of see you soons, traveled 50+ hours in peace and safety and were moved into our new home in less than 2 weeks! 2. For an amazing group of summer Greek students and for the opportunity to reconnect with students from last year! 3. For all of the approved paperwork: 5 year residence cards, BSN numbers (the citizen number required to open a bank account), government approval to home-school, and health insurance! Please Pray for:

1. A healthy pregnancy for Jenny and baby #5, safety as we travel about on our bikes, and health for our family as we adjust to a new place. 2. Blessings on the Tyndale students as they study and adjust to a new culture while they are missing home and family along with us.

3. For wisdom as we continue to build relationships with Dutch neighbors, students, our local church,
and fellow faculty/staff at Tyndale! Seeking to Glorify Him, Alex and Jenny Stewart
