INTRODUCTION:

Innovative EPS Ltd is a company in Ghana 2011 which introduced an innovating technology that gives successful solution of your payments and making it mobile transactions services to both public n private areas. Innovative EPS specialize in mobilizing the services of your any service providers top up, cash payments and acceptance through self service kiosks and properly maintained managed infrastructure. The IEPS are reliable payment processing in Ghana and West Africa who is linked by mobile network operators, Pay TV and utility companies; and they process the first online transaction for the MTN, AIRTEL, DSTV, GLOBAL ACCESS SAVING AND LOANS.1 As we seen electronic payment are enormously increasing, from regional perspective the electronic payment processing is provided by the company named Payzone, it delivers its services to six European countries namely Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Romania and Sweden. It focuses on providing convenience to retails , mobile network operators, utility companies and public transportation. The customers of payzone can use their nearest locator terminals and pay for the services provided by the partners of payzone such as mobile top up, gas bills, house payments scheme, and water bills. Debit and credit card is also accepted for goods and services for its customers to use it for their conveniences. 2

OBJECTIVES:
To ascertain/discover the effectiveness of electronic payment process through gateway technology in the prevailing economic conditions of Pakistan. To identify factors that might play a major part in the adaption of this system by the public and organization.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
To explore the degree of acceptance of Gateway Technology in Pakistan

RESEARCH QUESTION:
The research questions are as follow. To know the extent of acceptance of Gateway Technology in Pakistan.

LITERATURE:
Support document has been attached for further details to describe more about the gateway technology. Literature would also include previously done articles related to the issues of different types of payments to know what others have figured out.

METHODOLOGY:
Type of Research
This is a quantitative research which would at the end help us to know the percentage of people that are willing to accept Gateway Technology.

Method for Research

A Questionnaire would be designed in order to figure out the perception of people regarding the Gateway Technology.

Sampling Procedure and Sample Size

The population for this research would be all those people who pay utility bills through different sources or mobile services etc. Random sampling would be done in order to select the sample size of 200 for this research.

Measurement and Scaling Method

Likert scale would be used in the questionnaire in order to find the agreement or disagreement of people regarding this new technology. Primary data would be analyzed by using Percentage Analysis in order to figure out the percentage of people willing to accept this technology or not.

ASSUMPTIONS:
The Assumptions for this research are as follow.
1. We assumed that people would like to use this type of technology as then they

won't have stand in lines for payments or go to other premises.

2. It would become easy for banks and other institutions in order to reach their

customers directly.

LIMITATION:
The limitations of our research will as following
1) The time will be the major constraint to this research study.

This research is delimited to the qualification of sample that would be involved in this research.
