Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

It is not difficult to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:14, For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

I believe on Jesus and the works that He did I shall do also. Greater works than these I will do because Jesus went to His Father. John 14:12 I will be filled with the Holy Ghost and will speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives me utterance. Acts 2:4 When I speak in an unknown tongue I edify myself, but when I prophesy I edify the church. I Corinthians 14:4

The voice of the Lord is the Word of the Lord; which we find in the Bible. We can exercise our spiritman by speaking Gods Word over our lives daily. When we spend time reading our Bible and talking to God, we will be more practiced at hearing and identifying His voice. The reason people have a hard time hearing Gods instruction is because they dont spend enough time trying to hear Him. If we read the Bible we learn the different ways that God has spoken to people in the past. Samuel was just a little boy when he first heard God speak to him. It even took Samuel a few times to realize it was God speaking to him. Sometimes kids need to talk to their parents or pastors to help them know when God is saying something to them. Exercise your spiritman everyday by confessing (speaking) the promises you find in the Bible over your life and the things God has put in front of you.
