July brings cool celebrations to Nevada City
Beginning in mid July, Wednesday hot summer days give way to “Summer
Nights” celebrations in Nevada City. On July 15th, 22nd and 29th the Nevada
City Chamber of Commerce transforms the city’s historic downtown district
into an area filled with outdoor stages, arts, crafts, classic cars, food and
music. This will be the 19th year of “Summer Nights” which runs from
6:00pm to 9:00pm. There is no admission charged for entrance to the event
and activities. The stage shows will again feature some the leading Foothills
musicians. With the downtown area closed to traffic for the event, a shuttle
service will be available for a small fee. For more information contact the
