Introduction
I have choose My Final Individual Project Title as What is Quantity Surveying? And who is a Quantity Surveyor? I am trying to explain all about Quantity Surveying from Academic to Profession. So the report will be included with all the challengers Students are facing during the academic period as well as the professionals in their job field. Also this report will be mentioned with some mechanics for reduce those challengers and make it easy.

There are so many modules we having in our HND programme but from my view most of the students having a fear in their mind, that how can I handle all these as a professional Quantity Surveyor? For those, this report will help to come out of their fear and will give some kind of interests on studies. Therefore I hope this report will be very useful for every Quantity Surveying students to understand their Role and also this will make their Fear undergo.

Problem Identification and Problem Formulation

Actually during the Studying Process Students having So many modules and subjects. So most of the students havent a clear idea about how its going to be used in our job as a Quantity Surveyor? Because they might come with an idea that we are going to study about how to do an estimation and measurement of buildings. But when they entered into the class here they are studying Science and materials, designing principles etc at that point they having on their mind why we are studying all these? Is this

important for our job? But without a use a subject wont be added to the course. I
hope this report would answer for such questions what they having on their mind.

For an example we are studying Health and Services in our HND Programme but this will not be a major part for our Responsible Role as a quantity surveyor. but this knowledge should be have to have for a construction professional because this knowledge will help us to be aware of construction hazards.

And every student wants to know the summery of works what a Quantity Surveyor Should do? Because there are two types of Quantity Surveyors one is working as a Consultant and other one is working for a Constructor but both have different roles. Mostly students are having a doubt that what is the different between these two? This report will explain both Roles in a separate way clearly.

Objective of Study
Providing a Very good definition for Quantity Surveying Explaining Who is a Quantity Surveyor and what his Role in Construction Industry A Quantity Surveyors Major works will be explained with examples for a students to understand easily Two types of Quantity Surveyors will be clearly defined with their working process Importance of Quantity Surveyors and their supports in Construction Industry Explaining the Challenge of Quantity Surveyors Facing in the Industry and how to handle it also will be explained What are the Major things to study for a student to be a very good Quantity Surveyor is also will be included with practices.

Scope of Study
Actually this study is all about Quantity Surveying and their professional working process. As Quantity Surveying Students I and my friends had some challenges. That was made me to take this Topic to do as My Final Individual Project. I am targeting the Quantity Surveying Students for this final Project.

Students Should Get what we are studying what are the major modules should be understood clearly for the profession. these things will deliver them in an appropriate manner.

Clearly Arranging the Working Process of a Quantity Surveyor I hope that will increase the Students Confident Level that they can do the Job.

Giving some Practices for a Student to understand that How to Handle the Problems in the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor in an easy method.

I hope this Project will be a very useful Study for a Quantity Surveying Students to understand their Role and it will also put them Interested to become a Perfect Quantity Surveyor.
