The Craft Soire, a quarterly event by LifeAfterBreakfast.

com, is a celebration of the handmade, where crafters bring 10 crafts to give away, and take home 10 different crafts in exchange. For fourth Craft Soiree, participants were tasked to design their own paper sets for a Stationery Swap. On the 10th of August 2013, 35 crafters and makers (two couldnt make it on that day) gathered at Pino in Quezon City. The air was filled with excitement and squeals of giddiness as each crafter participated in a brief show-and-tell of their work. Snacks from PINO included Nori Cheese Sticks with Pesto and Raspberry Sauce, Buffalo Chicken Skin, Sisig Tacos, and Tofu Cheese Balls.

Each participant received a canvas drawstring rucksack (to stuff with all the exchanged stationery sets), a Tattly Makers gonna make tattoo, a sheet of LifeAfterBreakfast stickers, and a ballot to cast their vote for Crafters Choice stationery set.

Because of the high level of stress at work, I went back to arts and crafts as a de-stressing activity.
