MAYABEEJ RAHASYA

OMITYEKAAKSHARAM BRAHMA TADEVAAHUSHRVHREEMMAYAM DWEBEEJE MAMMANTRAUSATO MUKHYTVENSUROTAME

In amazing field of sadhna, well-arranged activity to complete one definite procedure with the help of Mantra and Yantra is called Tantra. Definitely, basic power behind complete Tantric procedures has been mantra and basis of mantras have been Varna (Hindi alphabets) and beej. And after the combination of these beej alphabets and beej mantras, various mantras were manifested from Shri SadaShivs mouth for the welfare of people. In the field of Tantra, all beej mantras hold a very important place and importance of beej mantra is very much known among sadhak fraternity. Here one point needs to be paid attention that why so much of importance is given to Beej Mantras. First of all it has to be understood that basis of mantra is sound, consonant and vowel are the one who coverts mental vibrations into sound. It may happen mentally too because any activity inside us gives birth to one definite sound. We have limited audible power beyond which we are not able to hear. Therefore all the sound made inside our body is not heard by us. But sound is originated and that sound creates energy. Each sound creates one special type of energy. Thats why subtle sound of mental recitation also creates subtle energy. Though there is abundance of tantric literature written by our sages and saints on Varnas and beej but with passage of time, it has started becoming obsolete. But still in Tantric worship , essentiality of beej mantra have not been ignored in any era and as a result some popular beej mantra are in vogue today among the masses out of which OM and SHREEM/SHREENG are most important. But siddhi aspects,

various sadhna padhatis and various secrets related to them have started becoming obsolete. There is no need to teach the importance of beej mantra HREEM to any sadhak of field of Tantra. This beej has always been beloved beej of sadhaks, which has got so many secrets contained in it. Lines said above are related to this beej mantra in which SadaShiv gives novel tantra knowledge to goddess; whose meaning is as follows OM is Brahma and it has always contained Hreem. In other word, Om and Hreem are complementary to each other. Both the beej are basic form of god i.e. Brahma form. Out of them , one part is Purush (OM) and other one is Prakriti (Hreem) Upon analyzing this verse, person can understand various facts. Brahma is one complete authority whose two prime parts are in form of Shiva and Devi. And seeing them in combined form, this Brahma form is manifested but in divided form it is Shiva and Shakti. In terms of sound, Shiva is in OM form and Shakti is in Hreem form. However, it is only visible or first meaning of this verse. In tantric Vaagmay, there are verses having seven meanings. Upon analyzing deeply one beej, mantra or sloka till subtlest level, seven different meanings are obtained out of which visible meaning expresses form; rest all meanings can be obtained from Guru. This is precisely the reason why sometimes in ancient literature, instead of giving visible sadhna only name is given whose abstruse meaning can be understood only from Siddh Guru. In the same manner, in above verse, sadhna procedure of Brahma form has been described through beej mantras which is separate subject altogether. Here let us further discuss about Hreem beej.

This beej contains Ha, Ra, Ee and Chandra () which is nasal sign used in Devanagri. These alphabets have got an extensive meaning and many siddhs have given its diverse descriptions. But the description which is recognized by one and all is Hkaarshivvaachi; Ha means Shiva, Refah Prakritirchyte; Ra indicates nature, Mahamaayarth Ee Shabdaah; Ee represents Mahamaaya (great illusion) Tatha Naadovishvprasooh; Chandra (nasal sign) represents Brahma Naad. In this manner, it can be interpreted that this beej of universal sound i.e. Brahma Naad is one which teaches us the real meaning of Mahamaaya bestowed by Shiva and Prakriti i.e. goddess.
