EVERY DAY: CHECK YOUR EMAILS for any requests that the college have for you. Some schools require copies of tax forms, transcripts, other forms which you get from school website, etc. SUBMIT FAFSA or DREAM ACT by MARCH 2 ! (Financial Aid Application)- FREE $$$$$$$$$! MAY

DO AT ANYTIME, but preferably Jan 1- MARCH 2nd to qualify for Cal Grant A & B.
MARCH: Take ENGLISH & MATH PLACEMENT TESTS at the college. Take tests seriously so you can be in appropriate Math and English levels. You cannot register for classes until you take these tests, so take it ASAP. You can go in person to the school; Fremont may also be taking trips to take these tests. Test scores from one school may not be accepted at another. MARCH-MAY: SEE COUNSELOR at Community College to register for classes. Register during your appointment time. DO NOT WAIT. APRIL/MAY: ATTEND NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION. Need to do before enroll in classes. Some schools have their orientation online. FEBRUARY-JUNE: APPLY FOR EOP&S. This program provides counseling, academic support, and sometimes, extra money $$$ for books. Go to the EOP&S office of school youre going to, to apply. MAY/JUNE: Complete BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BOGS) Fee Wavier Form and take to the Financial Aid Office of school to get even more money. FREE MONEY $$$ JUNE: If youre planning on TRANSFERRING, see transfer center of the college so you can get advice about whats required. You can also check out IGETC for your college. JUNE: ARE YOU AB 540 (undocumented)? Pick up residency declaration AFFIDAVIT form from the College Center so you can be charged in-state tuition. JULY: SUBMIT FINAL TRANSCRIPTS (get from Counseling Center) MOST DUE JULY 15th!!!
