In assignments and activities: For every week, facilitators and head committees must assess the level of participation of students. ** To compute, get the summation of the scores of the students from week 1 to the last week of each grading period. Then divide it by the total score, eventually multiply it by 20% to get the equivalent percentage. The following are the standard rubrics: 30 25 20 18 17 16 15 0 Very Commendable. Showed initiative/leadership. Demonstrated full participation. Doesnt need to be supervised. Encouraged others to work. Commendable. Showed initiative. Demonstrated full participation. The student use direct and unambiguous language, No attributions or evaluations of others behavior, use of I statements and cooperative we statements. 20 Aggressive. The student use swear words or abusive language, attributions and evaluations of others behavior, sexist or racist terms, explicit threats or putdown 10 Nonassertive. The student use qualifier words such as (maybe, kind of) Fillers (uh, you know, well) Negaters (its not really that important, Im not sure) In Quizzes: For every meeting/week the Instructor must assess the level of competency through skills and knowledge. ** To compute, get the summation of the scores of the students from the 1st quiz to the last quiz of each grading period. Then divide it by the total score, eventually multiply it by 15% to get the equivalent percentage.

In summary, the students are required to initiate a Co-Curricular Academic Outreach undertaking in form of a community event which will highlight activities that are considered owned by the College of Tourism. Students will use volunteer services that often produce a range of benefits including engendering pride in the school, strengthening a feeling of belonging and creating a sense of place. Through this event, students can also help to expose people to new ideas and experiences, encourage participation in different activities, and encourage tolerance and diversity as part of community and cultural development strategies in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry. The student takes advantage of others; expressive and selfenhancing at others expense.

Nonassertive. The student demonstrate a little eye contact, downward glances, slumped posture, constantly shifting weight, whiny voice
