Information Analysis using BEx Analyzer

Information analysis functions performing OLAP analysis


1. Filtering (slicing and dicing)
Apply one filter to create a slice of data. Example: Revenue in country USA only (Slicing) Apply a filter in more than one dimension. Example: Revenue in country USA only and in material group Mountain Bikes only (Dicing)

2. Drill Down and Roll Up


Display more detailed information (opposite of roll-up). Example: Revenue by Year, Quarter and Month (Drill down) Displayaggregated information (opposite of drilldown). Example: Revenue by Year and Quarter only (Roll up)
