Common Application
The Common Application simplifies the college admission process by saving time and eliminating duplication of effort. The completion of one application will allow you to send it to any participating college or university. The Common Application promotes equity, access, and integrity in the college application process. See the poster outside of the Guidance Office for participating colleges and universities.

OPPORTUNITIES SCHOLARSHIPS

High School seniors can enter for a chance to win a $1,000.00 SunTrust Off To College Scholarship. Registration opens September 16th and one winner will be chosen every two weeks through May 9, 2014. Enter online at offtocollege.info. Erskine College Presidential ScholarshipStudents must exhibit Christian commitment, intellectual curiosity, school, church, and community involvement, demonstrated leadership and service; desire and potential to excel at Erskine. Students must apply for admission to Erskine in addition to the scholarship. Apply at http:// visit.erskine.edu/apply/presidential-scholarship Spartanburg Methodist College Full Tuition Scholarship program provides full scholarships to 2014 graduates that have a 3.0 GPA or better in college prep curriculum. Winthrop University will be hosting Transfer Tuesday, Oct. 15th, Dec. 17th and Jan. 7, 2014 for students who plan to enroll after attending a two-year institution. These sessions are designed to simplify the transfer admissions process and make a smooth transition. Sessions will be held from 4:30-6:30 p.m. First Freedom Student Competition is a national essay and video contest. High school students can compete for $2500 as they examine the history and implementation of freedom of religion and conscience in American democracy and the world today.
