This program was deferred. August 2006 - January 2009: Senior Contracts, Procurement & Logistics Specialist, Daewoo International Corporation (Myanmar E&P), Yangon, Myanmar Responsible for contracts, procurement and logistics planning and support to the 2006/2007 and 2008/2009 Myanmar offshore deep water exploration programs. Coordinate full cycle procurement and contracting activities for all services and equipment supply for a three well and two well program utilising the Transocean Legend, Offshore Myanmar. Established logistics protocol and systems, supervised load-out of all equipment and manage day to day logistics operations in support of the Drilling Superintendent and Offshore Supervisors. January 2006 - July 2006: Senior Contracts, Procurement & Logistics Specialist, APICO (Khorat) Limited, Bangkok, Thailand Responsible for the contracts, procurement and logistics planning and support to a three (3) well onshore operation in Khorat, Northern Thailand. To coordinate multi-discipline activities and inputs throughout the full contract cycle from development of enquiry documents, through bid evaluation, pre-award negotiations, preparation of contracts for execution, subsequent implementation and amendments. April 2004 - December 2005: Contracts Manager, ARC Energy, Perth, Australia Develop and document procedures for tendering, contract administration and install a procurement system, which is robust and complies with audit requirements both for corporate and Joint Venture auditors. Key Responsibilities Manage the basis logistic requirements of the Company, with particular focus on the drilling program and ongoing field development. Manage on a day-to-day basis the contracts associated with drilling, engineering and production, including management of Master Service Agreements (MSAs), having regard to technical and commercial requirements of the Company. Development, documentation and management of the contracts and procurement function for the Company. Develop a system that flags all expenditures in a timely manner that are not authorised in the manner approved by the Management Committee. Develop, document and maintain an appropriate tender procedure in line with AS4120 that is robust and can be rolled-out to Asset Managers and other relevant staff members. Develop, document and manage the procurement system (in conjunction with the finance department) to integrate with the accounting system. Develop a preferred vendors list (as required under ARCs Safety Case) in conjunction with HS&E Induction Procedures and the Finance Department. Develop the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and execute with the necessary vendors. Document, where appropriate, the logistics function for the Company. Coordinate the logistics function internally, working with the drilling department and the Project, Engineering, Production and Well Engineering Managers. Manage a cost effective and timely logistics function, meeting HS&E requirements at all times.

March 2003 - March 2004: Contracts Manager, SNC-Lavalin, Perth & Karratha, Australia To coordinate multi-discipline activities and inputs throughout the full Contract cycle from the development of enquiry documents, through bid evaluation, pre-award negotiations, preparation of contracts for execution, their subsequent implementation and amendments. The project involved the construction of a US$500M greenfields fertilizer plant in Karratha, North West Australia. Key Responsibilities Participate in preparing the Contracting Plan, including selection of equipment packages, contracts, potential suppliers and contractors. Participate in selection of construction packages for each tender and obtain client and JV Partner approval. Participate with engineering in preparation of tender documents and obtain review where necessary by legal advisors. Participate with engineering in preparing bidders lists. Lead preparation of tender documents, their issue, receipt, analysis and recommendation for award. Lead preparation of contract documents, their issue and execution by contractors. Arrange inspection and expediting resources and ensure activities are executed in accordance with the Contracting Plan. Check contractor's claims as approved by the inspectors/expeditors (off-site) and Construction Manager (on-site) and prepare Payment Certificates for approval prior to issue to client. Review and negotiate variations for additional work. Review grounds for back charging and implement procedures where necessary. Issue completion certificates as per agreed project milestones.
