Lead Planning Drilling Engineer for the Omar-1 exploration well. Pseudo HPHT well in the Browse basin on Australia. 400m Water Depth. Responsible for all aspects of the planning of this well- Basis of Design for Fluids, BHA and Cementing. Prepared the drilling program for submission to the regulator for obtaining Approval to Drill. Liaised closely with the HSE teams from Woodside and Maersk (drilling contractor) for obtaining all Safety Case Approvals for operating in the Browse basin. Well design took into account H2S/sour service considerations. Lead Drilling Engineer for the PLA01ST1 sidetrack well. 850m Water depth. 60 degree incination. th Re-entry over subsea manifold with 6 Gen Dynamically Positioning Drillship (Maersk Discoverer). Worked as the operations drilling engineer and Acting Drilling Superintendent for the well. Sidetrack Ops performed after setting Smith Trackmaster 13 3/8 Whipstock. th Operations Drilling Engineer for the Maersk Discoverer 6 Generation DP semi rig. Planned and executed the Larsen-1 deepwater exploration well in 1250m WD. Prepared Drilling program and Detailed Drilling Guidelines for the well. Involved use of all of Landmarks Drilling Engineering Software and working in a Multi Disciplinary Team. Completed full closeout of well in adherence with Woodside Assurance Plan processes. Qualified Liner Hanger Systems from both Baker Oil Tools and Weatherford to execute the first successful Liner Hanger installation in BP Trinidad for the last 3 years (installed on the Kapok A11 well). Worked with the Wells Federal Group to evaluate the tenders / contracts for Casing and Tubular Running. Qualified the first 2 Stage Split Compact, Surface Wellhead design for Cameron currently being used on the Immortelle A25 well. Planned and executed the Flamboyant A3 Sidetrack well. QA/QC custodian for the Immortelle A25 well (all engineering equipment) Worked with Weatherford TRS to construct and qualify the first land derrick and testing facility in Trinidad. Completed End Of Well Reports for the Mahogany and Flamboyant wells.
