Flanged Seam

Description
Flexible Duct Connectors are used to eliminate duct system noises and vibrations for industrial and commercial applications. The Basic use is to isolate the vibration and noises to the source with an air tight flexible joint consisting of a fabric fastened to steel metal on both sides. The flexible connector is fixed between the A/C equipment or fan and the ductwork. Various cloth types, cloth widths and steel widths are available in order to meet most of the installation requirements at job sites.

This connector is appropriate for Round, Oval and Rectangular air ducts. It can be shaped easily with a minimal percentage of waste.

Mounting Instructions
General

Mounting Instructions for Flexible Connectors

At a noch, cut a length equivalent to the perimeter plus 5 to 6 cm.

Lift the seam outward to a right angle.

Coat the cloth with its appropriate adhesive

Join both sides by adhesive and or stitching

Press together firmly

Spotweld the steel.

Make sure that the notched side faces outward and that the position of the joint is not at the corner.
