1 Central control unit SI 111 The painted steel housing, 1.5 mm thick, is supplied with the main board, the power unit board and the transformer. It provides room for one 7.2 Ah battery and 2 relay cards.
The housing is monitored for opening, and can be lead-sealed. A back tamper contact is also available as an option. The central control unit offers 6 programmable inputs and 5 programmable outputs, 1 telephone line interface and 1 PC/printer interface. On the inputs for the central control unit as well as the transponders, the following operating modes can be programmed by software for each input (in addition to the name, post/function etc.): normally open normally closed 1 EOL resistor 2 EOL resistors The following types of outputs are available: 1 changeover contact, 24 V/1 A 4 open collectors, 0.15 A
The power pack of the central control unit supplies 12 V/0.8 A to feed the central control unit and the external consumers. As well as the E-BUS supply, 2 separately protected 12 V outputs are available. The battery, the mains and the fuses are all monitored. A failure is signalled to the main board via the E-BUS. The length of an E-BUS line is 500 m, which can be extended to 1500 m by using the SAR 11 insulator. The E-BUS can be used to connect as many as 3 remote keypads, 2 transponders and 1 power unit to the central control unit. To operate the system, 8 individually configurable PINs are available, as well as 1 technician PIN. All events that occur are stored in the event memory, together with the date and time. In each case, a separate event memory is available for the user and the technicians. In addition, technicians activities are recorded in a separate memory. Event memories can be read out via the remote keypad, the telephone line or the PC/printer interface.

Integrated communicator The communicator connects the Sintony SI 111 with the analog telephone network. It transmits alarms and other events to digital alarm receiving centres and/or PCs. The communicator enables remote programming and operation of the central control unit via a PC (upload/ download), and it also allows a message to be transmitted to a pager. In conjunction with the SMV 11 voice module, voice announcements can also be transmitted to any desired individuals.
2 Voice module SMV 11 The SMV 11 is a voice module which can be plugged in to the central units printed board.
Audio and video alarm verification A range of products are available to allow verification of alarms by a remote alarm receiving centre. A separate data sheet provides you with information about the possibilities for alarm verification, and the components that are required for this purpose. Wireless components It is possible to connect various radio signallers and operating devices to the Sintony. A separate data sheet is available with details about Sintony radio components.
3 LCD remote keypad SAK 31 To make installation as simple as possible, the SAK 31 consists of a mounting base with connection terminals, and a plug-on upper unit with display components and keyboard. Plain text user prompting is possible thanks to the illuminated 2 x 16-character LCD display.
The 20 illuminated keys allow reliable operation even when light conditions are poor. The most commonly required functions can be executed rapidly, reliably and directly by using the 6 function keys. The integrated buzzer can be programmed via the central control unit. The LEDs provide a quick overview of the system and/or ward status. A pull-out plastic card provides information about the keys. LCD remote keypad SAK 32 The same as the SAK 31, but with a loudspeaker and microphone. LCD remote keypad SAK 41 The SAK 41 consists of a base and an upper unit with the display and the keyboard. Its functions and operation are the same as for the SAK 31.
With the help of the built-in microphone, the SMV 11 records up to 7 messages. The communicator then transmits these messages to the desired person via the telephone network.

4 LED remote keypad SAK 21 The SAK 21 consists of a base and an upper unit with the LED display and the keyboard. Wards can be armed and disarmed via the SAK 21, and a hold-up alarm can be triggered. The integrated buzzer can be freely programmed via the central control unit.
5 Insulator SAR 11/SMR 11 The SAR 11/SMR 11 insulator is used to divide the E-BUS into two branches which are decoupled from one another: in this way, faults on one branch will not influence other E-BUS branches. In addition to this, the E-BUS signals are amplified, so that the E-BUS can be extended by 500 m. According to choice, the insulator is available as the SMR 11 with housing, or the SMR 11 as a printed board.
7 External power unit SAP 08 The power unit provides 12 V/1 A to supply the E-BUS as well as the 4 separately protected 12 V outputs. The battery, mains and fuses are monitored. A failure is signalled to the central control unit via the E-BUS. A programmable 48 V/5 A relay output is also available. The housing provides room for 4 SMT 11/SMR 11 printed boards, one 7.2 Ah battery and 2 relay cards, or one 17 Ah battery.
Transponder SAT 11/SMT 11 The transponder can be used to extend the central control unit by adding 4 inputs and 2 outputs (open collectors, 0.15 A) in each case. The transponder can be obtained as the SAT 11 (in a housing), or as the SMT 11 (board only).

Sylcom SAS 11 Sylcom is a software program for PCs, which can be used to program or operate the Sintony central control units. The technician can use Sylcom on site with an SAQ 11 printer cable; remote use via the telephone network is also possible in conjunction with a modem. PC/printer cable SAQ 11 To connect the central control unit to the RS 232 interface of a printer or a PC. Relay board SMX 13 The SMX 13 has 2 independent relays with a 24 V/2 A changeover contact. The relays must be triggered with 12 V/0.15 A.
