Career Objectives
I have successfully graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of
Commerce degree (majoring in Economics and Finance) last December 2008. Due to my
keen interest in continuous learning; I am currently pursuing my Masters in Finance degree at
RMIT University.
My objective is to learn as much from senior analysts, adapt quickly into the working
environment, play my role as a team player, succeed in projects/assignments assigned, and to
overall mould myself into someone of calibre.

Additional Qualifications/Enrolment:
I am currently enrolled as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate and will be
sitting for my Level I examination in Melbourne this coming December 2009. I am keen on
continuing and completing the CFA program to earn the extra accreditation.

Responsibilities:
• I was placed with a senior associate (acted as my mentor) in the Advisory department.
I worked under the Corporate Governance/Risk Compliance team during the two
months internship.
• Learned to use the Bloomberg search machine for financial information on stock
returns.
Responsibilities:
• Shifting between tasks, I also am responsible to assist the shift supervisor during
peak/rush hours.
• As a Cafe Coordinator (newly promoted), I am responsible for cafe sales performance
and to help improve/achieve daily sale targets.
Achievements:
• Developed the correct people skills to approach trainees properly and not to appear
too “bossy”.
• Developed team work skills and learned how effective working as a team is on
boosting hourly sales.

Non-technical Skills:
• I have a tendency to prefer numerical and strategic problems. This explains why I
majored in Economics and Finance as I have a flair for mathematical problems.
• I also have excellent time management skills, as I have to juggle between studying for
my penultimate year, my part-time job and studying for my CFA examination in
December.
• I also love working in a team, and working alongside team mates to produce good
quality work within the given time period.
