Purpose: IP and NEMA enclosure ratings determine how well the enclosures of electronic components resist the infiltration of dust and moisture. IP (Ingress Protection) Enclosure Rating for Nonhazardous Locations

National Electrical Manufacturers Association classification system for electrical component enclosure protection against a variety of environmental conditions described below.
