SUBMITTALS Submit the following according to conditions of contract and division 16 specification sections. Product data including manufacturer's detailed technical product data and installation instructions for CCTV system instructions for handling, storage, installation, dimensions of individual components, profiles, finishing, protection, and maintenance. Shop drawings showing layout and types of CCTV system , including plans, elevations, sections, details of anchorage and attachments to other units of work, and conditions requiring features or other accessories. QUALITY ASSURANCE Installer Qualifications: Engage an experienced installer who has specialized in installing types of CCTV system similar to those required for this project.

Source Quality Control: Obtain CCTV system of each type from a single manufacturer or source to ensure a match of quality, color, pattern, and manufacturing. Manufacturers : Firms & CCTV regularly engaged in the manufacture of CCTV , whose products have been in satisfactory use in similar service for not less than 10 years .

Standards : All equipment furnished under these specifications will conform to applicable standards of NEC , NEMA , UL & ANSI & local requirements & codes . 1.5 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING Handle equipment carefully to prevent damage & to avoid scoring the finish . Store inside & protect from weather . When necessary to store outdoors , elevate well above grade & enclose with durable , waterproof wrapping . 1.6 A. PROJECT CONDITIONS Moisture Content: At time of delivery, average moisture content to be 6 to 9 percent, with a maximum of 12 percent for any one piece and not more than 5 percent outside of given average range. Conditioning: Do not install CCTV system until spaces are enclosed and at approximate humidity condition planned for occupancy.

WARRANTY Warranty: Submit a written warranty executed by manufacturer, installer, and contractor, agreeing to repair or replace CCTV system components that fails in materials or workmanship within the specified warranty period. failures include, but are not limited to: 1. 2. 3. Warranty Period: Provide warranty of system support for 5 years from date of Substantial Completion , including provision of technical support , hardware , and spare parts .

2.1

MANUFACTURERS Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, and as indicated by the , consultant specification , provide samples to be approved by the engineer .

INSPECTION Examine substrates where CCTV system will be installed and conditions under which work will be performed. Do not proceed with work until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected in manner acceptable to installer.

PREPARATION Where direct application of CCTV system to concrete substrate is indicated, test for dryness before proceeding with installation. Check levelness of concrete substrate to ensure not more than 6-mm deviation in any direction when checked with a 3-m straight edge. Grind down high spots or fill in low spots to correct improper conditions. Apply moisture barrier over concrete substrate or subfloor as recommended by engineer. INSTALLATION

Contractor is to provide & install complete CCTV system which meet the following basic requirements : (1) System must be IP enabled to allow remote reviewing and maintenance from a central control station . (2) Tight security mechanism must be applied to eliminate tampering with recording or erasing . B. The main target of the CCTV system is to have a reliable monitoring system covering most of the location & all sensitive areas or exits , and to be able to

save the recorded data from all cameras for at least 15 days , with the possibility of printing images or copying data on video cassette ( used as evidences by the concerned authorities ) . To correctly achieve this target the following will be needed will be covered : - Entry points . - Corridors . - Tech. Rooms . - Perimeter of the location .

B. Principles of operation : The switching system shall be a microprocessor-based crosspoint matrix / multiplex capable of automatically routing video signals from a requested camera position to a specified monitor. 4.1 EXECUTION : 1. Contractor will examine the areas & conditions under which system & fittings are to be installed . Correct any unsatisfactory conditions affecting the proper & timely completion of the work . Do not proceed until the unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected in a manner satisfactory to the authorized representative . CCTV system is to be reviewed & approved by Management company .

Digital video recorder correct , required operations . Monitors size and quality according to specification .
