Information Technology Board Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites applications from energetic and competent candidates for the following positions on contract basis:-

Description Qualification MBA (Marketing) from a reputable and HEC recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates possessing higher degree in relevant discipline. Experience: 12 years of experience in marketing, managing marketing team(s) and formulation and implementation of marketing strategy, preferably in the IT or telecom industry. Knowledge of global information and communication technologies, current and emerging trends, business models and research studies. Excellent verbal and written English language communication and interpersonal skills needed to interact with senior level executives at domestic and international level. Roles & responsibility: To ensure that the Provincial IT industry is effectively promoted /marketed to the world to gain larger share of international outsourcing business and moving into higher value chain arena. Identify and ensure the development of appropriate marketing collateral, such as brochures, both electronic and paper based, advertisements, both on the web and in other channels, and other similar material. Maintenance & updation of IT Board Website. Interact with other government departments involved in enhancing trade, collect feedback and review results of each event/exhibition and make suggestions for improvement. To maintain liaison with PSEB. Develop and execute a marketing strategy and actionable plan so that Provincial IT industry grows in terms of export figures, foreign investment, job creation, keeping in mind the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by the industry. Coordinate with the industry, domestic and foreign IT trade bodies, Pakistan foreign missions, local and international IT exhibitors and other stakeholders to participate in domestic and international events/exhibitions, take delegations abroad, invite international business delegates and manage the overall participation effort in the international market. Establish and maintain a working environment conducive to positive morale, quality, creativity and teamwork.
Qualification: MBA/MCS/M.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent

Experience:

12 Years of experience in relevant field. Should have an experience of working in the public sector, with preparing budgets, project proposals, monitoring and evaluation techniques, presentation for higher management and clear understanding of the financial regulations of the Government of Pakistan will be preferred. Primary job responsibility will be of Conceptualization, preparation and implementation of projects aimed at the growth of the local IT industry. Provide technical assistance during implementation of projects and interfacing with IT industry and other stakeholders will also be the part of the job. Possesses the technical stature, communication and interpersonal skills needed to manage a team composed of technical resources. Ability to provide leadership, motivation and constructive performance reviews to staff, securing their respect and commitment to achieve goals of the Project. Ability to work and resolve problems in an efficient manner take responsibility for project management and execution tasks. Design project implementation plans to meet the objectives of project within the defined scope. Identify, define and integrate tasks assigned to project team. Directs the priorities, work program, and resource allocation within the project. Review of project execution in line with the organizational policies, and priorities. Liaison and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders of the project Monitoring of project milestones and deliverables for proper utilization of funds in-line with project scope, objectives and rules & regulations. Follow up on release of funds with ST&IT and other Govt. Departments Compiling feedback received from beneficiaries of the project and its processing for the stake-holders. Providing leadership to the project team for smooth execution of project. Managing administrative affairs of project team.

Qualification:

BCS(4Years)/MIT/MCS/MSc(Computer Science with years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Professional certifications as appropriate. Knowledge of current trends in the specific field. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Must have a strong dedication to customer service. Training ability/experience a plus.

(One) Manager (Operation) Salary Package: Rs. 86,000/PM Maximum Age: Up to 50 years

Experience in IT-related Projects/Administration/Planning/ Implementation of IT-Projects in Public/Private Sector with sound knowledge of government rules and regulations. Acts as the primary point of communication between TIS and operating, business and functional units. Performs operations/functions in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. To coordinate and activities of staff (key users) in crossorganizations and cross-functional teams.
Roles & responsibility:

Provides strategic, budgeting and disaster recovery/business continuity planning to offices and staff in multiple operating, business and functional units. Responsible for maintenance and software license management. Monitors security compliance in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. Responsible for maintenance of systems documentation such as TIS operations manuals. Planning and Implementation Plan for IT related Projects. Administration and procurement plan. Monitoring and evaluation of the IT projects and submit reports to the Senior Management. Up to date Knowledge of IT industry. Responsible for local IT vender, contract and outsourcing management. Responsible for monitoring data backups in offices to ensure that they are completed on a regular basis. Other duties as assigned. MBA from a University/institution recognized by the HEC with 7 years relevant experience. Candidates from top local business schools (IBA, LUMS) will be given preference. Professional certifications as appropriate. Knowledge of current trends in the specific field. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Must have a strong dedication to customer service. Experience

The Technology and Information Systems Operations Manager (TISOM) administers and maintains information technology systems (including PC and LAN equipments). Facilitate IT operations functions to offices for the organizations standard hardware, software and voice/data network solutions. Responsible for the purchase, installation, and life-cycle maintenance of PCs, servers and LAN network connectivity equipment.

Provides on-sight support of hardware, software and network connectivity issues. Acts as the primary point of communication between TIS and operating, business and functional units. Performs operations/functions in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. To coordinate and activities of staff (key users) in crossorganizations and cross-functional teams.
Roles & responsibility:

Provides strategic, budgeting and disaster recovery/business continuity planning to offices and staff in multiple operating, business and functional units. Responsible for maintenance and software license management. Monitors security compliance in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. Responsible for maintenance of systems documentation such as TIS operations manuals. Serves as the technical and communications liaison to and from stakeholders and office key users for communications, initiatives, needs assessments, etc. Provides technical support that requires an on-site presence (server, NAS, Network or PC equipment failure), including data backup recovery. Provides consulting/training/education services such as data management and staff training/orientation for standard systems. Serves as IT point of contact and accountable for the IT portion of new office setups, office expansions, etc. This includes relocation and/ or installation of voice/data communications solutions, LAN and PC equipment. Responsible for local IT vender, contract and outsourcing management. Responsible for monitoring data backups in offices to ensure that they are completed on a regular basis. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant or M.Com or MBA (Finance) from a University/institution recognized by the HEC with 7 years relevant experience. Professional certifications as appropriate. Knowledge of current auditing trends.
Experience

Must have experience and depth knowledge of Powers of Delegations, PIPRA rules, Rules of Business and government procurement rules. Must have experience and depth knowledge of General Financial Rules Government of Pakistan Mush have experience in computerized accounting systems and

(One) Manager (Audit) Salary Package: Rs: 86,000/PM Maximum Age: Up to 50 years

Ensure effective management of the financial resources of ITB and that all operations within the policies and plans as laid down by ITB management in compliance with best accounting practices. Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operational controls. Ascertain the extent to which ITBs assets are accounted for and safeguarded from losses. Formulate the policy and procedure for Financial Audits, Compliance Audits, Information Systems Audits, Operational Audits and Investigative Audits. Take appropriate measures for the prevention of frauds and elimination of conditions inducing fraudulent actions. Report regularly to IT Board with regard to progress in achieving planned objectives. Develop and pursue best practices for strategies regarding Equality and Diversity, Risk Management, Disaster Recovery, Asset Management, ITB Sustainability etc. Undertake special investigations at the directive of the IT Board. Ensure that the prescribed procedures are diligently followed within ITB, so that appraisal and monitoring can be reliable and effective. Prepare reports containing observations, comments and recommendations based on carried out work.

Assist in knowledge management process by providing accurate, sound and timely professional advice to board and management of ITB. Liaising with the external auditors in order to prevent duplication of effort and to keep them briefed on areas of concern in order that both external and internal audit functions could be carried out efficiently and effectively. Contribute in all relevant meetings involving consideration of policy/procedures formulation matters and other allied matters relating to the overall operations of the organization.
Qualification:

M.Com or MBA (Finance) from a University/institution recognized by the HEC with 7 years relevant experience. Candidates from top local business schools (IBA, LUMS) will be given preference. Verify the completeness and accuracy in the recording of accrued income, expenses and prepayments and check their reversal in the next accounting period. Ensure complete, accurate and prompt recording of all financial transactions. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Safeguard the ITB resources against waste, fraud and inefficiency. Gather the financial results as shown by the general ledger at month end and present to Managing Director. Ensure that standard journal vouchers have been prepared, coded and posted as required. Ensure that the control accounts have been reconciled with the respective subsidiary ledgers. Verify the recording of the commissioning of fixed assets and the valuation and transfer of balances from capital work in progress to operating fixed assets. Carry out other substantive tests and procedures to verify the completeness and accuracy of the account balances in the general ledger. Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements on the prescribed dates indicating variances vs. budgets and circulate performance to concerned departments seeking clarification on negative variances. Ensure timely submission of periodical financial statements to the immediate superior. Maintain liaison with the internal/external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audit. Perform any other work assigned by immediate superior.

Qualification:

LLB from a University/institution recognized by the HEC with 5 years relevant experience. Professional certifications as appropriate. Knowledge of current trends in the specific field. Should have membership with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bar council.
