TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Projectile: Consiste of a hollow steel forging with a boat-tailed base, a streamlined ogive and gilding metal driving band. High Explosive Charge: Is cast TNT. A cavity is formed at the nose of the projectile to accept the supplementary charge. Supplementary Charge: Consists of TBT pressed into an aluminium liner. The entire unit is placed in the fuze cavity. Cartridge Case: Is the M14 type, made of 70/30 brass. Propelling Charge: Type M67, consisting of seven (7) propelling charge increments. The increments are individually munbered and placed in cloth bags. Percussion Primer: Is the M28B2 type and is press-fitted at the base of the cartridge case. Fuze: It is a point detonating, type M557 with choise of superquick or delay action, featuring a arming distance of 60 m.
