Financial Performance: The Company booked net income amounted IDR 43.723 billion in 2010, higher than last year income worth IDR 26.22 billion. Brief History: The company began commercial production in 1983. Products are classied by thickness into two categories: aluminum sheet with thickness varying from 0.15 mm to 6.0 mm, and aluminum foil of less than 0.15 mm thickness. Aluminum sheet is further divided into several product types, ranging from thick, circle, and roong aluminum sheet to aluminum foil and heat exchanger ns. Production capacity in 1996 stood at 71,200 tons per annum, comprising 64,000 tons of aluminum sheet and 7,200 tons of aluminum foil. The main raw material used in production is aluminum ingot, 70% of which is imported from Switzerland and Australia, and the remainder supplied by PT Inalum, an Indonesian company. Marketing normally takes place through the current network of 15 distributors, but embossed coil aluminum, used as raw material for aluminum roongs, is sold directly to manufacturers. In 1995, about 23.6% of production was sold to Maspion Stainless Steel Indonesia, which is also 100% owned by the company. In addition to domestic sales, the company has also exported its products to China, Taiwan, Japan, and countries in South East Asia, with exports accounting for 7.6% of sales in 1995. The production operations do not generate any environmentally hazardous waste as the aluminum scraps left over from production are recyclable.
