The Mystic Realm of Death

1.How did God create Man in the beginning? Genesis 2:7, And the LORD God formed man of the ____ of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the ______ of life; and man _______ a living soul. NOTE: There are two primary parts that compose a human being, the dust of the ground, and the breath of life. When these two parts are combined the results are life. The Bible calls it a living soul. 2.What did God say to Adam about the conditions of life? Genesis 2:16-17, And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest ______ eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely _____.

NOTE: God showed Adam all the fruit that He had made and told the man, that they may be eaten freely. But, he also said that the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil should not be eaten, if it would be eaten the result would be death. 3.What did the serpent tell the woman about the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Genesis 3:4, And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely ____: Romans 6:23, For the wages of sin is _____; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. NOTE: God told Adam you that death would result, the devil lied to Eve and said, No, you will not die. The sad reality is that most of the world today still believes the lie of the devil. 4.What does the Bible teach in regards to the worship of the dead? Deuteronomy 18:10-12, There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an ___________ unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Numbers 19:16, And whosoever _________ one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

Leviticus 21:1, And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the ______ among his people: NOTE: Any contact with the dead God condemns as an abomination. 5.What happens when a person dies? Genesis 3:19, In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for ____ thou art , and unto dust shalt thou ________. Ecclesiastes 12:7 , Then shall the ______ return to the earth as it was: and the ______ shall return unto God who gave it. NOTE: So, when a person dies the same process takes place, except this time it happens in reverse order. The spirit or the breath of God (See Job 27:3) returns to God, and the dust decomposes into the ground. 6.Do souls die? Ezekiel 18:4 , Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the _____ that sinneth, it shall _____. NOTE: Yes, the Bible is very clear, souls die. There is not even one mention in the whole Bible that souls are immortal. Even though, many preachers use the phrase, immortal soul. God is the only one that has immortality. Rather, the Bible calls death a sleep 53 times. 7.What did Jesus teach in regards to the dead?

John 11:11-14, These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus ________; but I go, that I may awake him out of ______. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he ______, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his ______: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in _____. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is ______. NOTE: Jesus plainly calls death a sleep. 8.What did Martha believe in regards to the timing of the resurrection of the dead? John 11:21-23, Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother ______ rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the _________ at the _______ ____. NOTE: Martha believed very firmly in the resurrection, and she also believed that the resurrection occupied a very specific frame of time. Future, at the last day. She did not believe that Lazarus was in heaven immediately after his death. 9.Is there a conscious existence after death? Psalm 6:5, For in death there is no ___________ of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? Psalm 115:17, The ______ praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence. Psalm 146:4, His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth;

in that ____ ____ his thoughts _______. Job 7:9-10, As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up ___ _______ . He shall return ___ ______ to his house, neither shall his place know him any more. saiah 38:18, For the _______ ________ praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth. Ecclesiastes 9:5,6, 10, For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not ____ _____, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now ______ ___; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy ______; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the _______, whither thou goest. NOTE: When a person dies they are in a dreamless sleep. They do not come back to visit anyone, nor are they aware of what is taking place in the world. 10.What does Spiritualism teach in regards to death? Spiritualism says that the dead know more than the living. And the serpent said unto the woman, ye shall not surely die. Genesis 3:4. In this, as in many other Bible passages, the Devil told the truth and the Lord is in error. E.W. Sprague, Spiritualist. The Progressive Thinker May 18, 1929. What spiritualism is and does: It removes all fear of death, which is really the portal to the spirit world. It teaches that

death is not the cessation of life, but mere change of condition. Spiritualism is Gods message to mortals, declaring that There is no death. That all who have passed on still live. That there is hope in the life beyond for the most sinful that every soul will progress through the ages to heights, sublime and glorious, where God is love and love is God. NOTE: So, Spiritualism, is the old teaching of the devil in the garden of Eden with flashy new wrapping paper, but it is still the same old lie. 11.Will Satan use Spiritualism to deceive many people at the end of time? Revelation 13:13-14, And he doeth great ________, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And _______them that dwell on the earth by the means of those ________ which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. Revelation 16:14, For they are the spirits of devils, working _____________... 2 Corinthians 11:14, And no marvel; for Satan himself is ____ ______ into an angel of ________. NOTE: Satan will surely deceive many on this subject. He will impersonate many who have died to lead the world astray. 12.What about the thief on the cross? Luke 23:42-23, And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, _______ shalt thou be with me in paradise. NOTE: These verses seem to prove that Jesus went to heaven that day, lets dig a little deeper to be sure this is the case. John 20:17, Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not ___ ________ to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. NOTE: According to this verse, Jesus did not go to heaven that day. So why the contradiction? Actually, upon closer inspection there is no contradiction. It all depends on the placement of the comma in Luke 23:43, the punctuation was added later by the translators, it is not inspired. The verse should be read like this: Verily I say unto thee today, shalt thou be with me in paradise. In other words, Jesus was telling the repentant thief, I am making you a promise today. This day, while I am dying on the tree, that you will be with me in paradise. 13.Does God forget those who have died? 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18, For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the _____ in Christ shall _____ first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 2 Timothy 4:7-8, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me

a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at ___ ____: and not to me ____, but unto ____ them also that love his _________. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53, Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must ___ on _________. NOTE: When Jesus comes those who are sleeping the sleep of death those who accepted His free gift of Salvation, will come forth and be given the gift of immortality, never more to be sick, never more to be subject to death. What a wonderful day this will be for those who accepted Jesus. I want to be there, dont you? MY DECISION FOR JESUS. It makes sense to me that God deals with the dead in this manner. God, does not want people to suffer in watching the lives of the living. But, rather he allows the dead to sleep peacefully until He resurrects them. I want to take part in that resurrection when Jesus comes! Yes or No
