Dear Application Developer,

As you already know, Bricsys has invested the past few years in developing an API-suite allowing to port .dwg based applications to BricsCAD without effort and maintain just one code stream for both AutoCAD and BricsCAD based applications. Today hundreds of applications are in the process of being ported. We invite you to add and update your application page on our web site. Weve worked hard to create a system where you can add, update and edit your application information. In no time your users will find well-structured and up-to-date information about your application.

1. Access to your manage page

Go to www.bricsys.com Go to Bricsys Meeting Point and log in.

2 Click on My applications
When youre logged in to Bricsys Meeting Point, click on My applications. If you dont see it, youre using the wrong username or you havent got sufficient rights to access those pages.

2. Manage your application

Manage application overview This is what you will see when you manage your application:

2 Add your application

Add a new application by clicking on the Add new application button. Follow the steps in the pop-up window by clicking on Continue after filling out all required fields in the forms. When youre done, close the pop-up window and refresh your manage page to see your application.

General information 3 The general application information contains all the information about your application that isnt country or language specific. You can find the following information:
Name of your application Main category for your application (only one category) License (Freeware, Commercial, ) Keywords (important for the search function on our web site) English short description (important for the international list)

4 Country/language specific information

This is the description of your application for a specific language or country. If your application is available in multiple languages, you have to provide for each language your application supports the necessary information. You can find the following information:
Short introduction (one or two lines) Description (long introduction) Overview (full description) Features (list) Global screenshot (screenshot of your application on BricsCAD) Other screenshots Movies (only in .flv format) Documentation (.pdf format)

 Installer information (version number, download link, size, required application and system requirements) Products (see chapter 6 of this guide)

5 Apply your changes (request release)

When you add your application or add additional information, you will need to send a request to Bricsys. Close the pop-up window and refresh your manage page. The Request release link will appear next to installsets. Click on it to send your request. Within a few days your changes will be visible (if approved).

Status overview:
Red light: not online. Send a request and wait for approval. Orange light: all information online except the new stuff youve added. Send a request to apply your latest changes. Green light: all information online

6 Add products to your application

Click on products Add a new product Please read the descriptions of the text boxes carefully so you know what to fill out.

Product overview After adding a product, you will see this overview:

Status

Product name Edit product information

Delete product

Manage license keys

Amount of assigned and unassigned license keys

Manage you unassigned license keys Unassigned license keys are license keys that will be assigned to people who buy your application. Be sure to have always more than 5 unassigned license keys. If there are no unassigned license keys, your product will be offline.

Add unassigned license keys Please add at least 10 unique license keys to get started.

Confirm your license keys Please confirm your license keys and correct them if necessary.

Follow up your assigned license keys If someone buys your application, an unassigned license key will be assigned to that person. The assigned license key will appear in your product overview.

View your assigned license keys to get an overview of your customers

If the status of the assigned license key is orange, a Bricsys partner ordered your application and is waiting for his customer to pay. Click on the name of the customer to view the contact details.

3. FAQ
I cant see the application Ive just added on my manage page:
When you close the pop-up window dont forget to refresh your manage page to see your application.

I cant see the application Ive just added in the application list.
Click on Request release to send your request. Within a few days your changes will be visible (if approved).

I cant see the request link:

Refresh your manage page Some of the required information is not provided (e.g. a global screenshot, a logo, an install set). Please make sure all required fields are filled out. If you think youve added all the necessary information, contact support.
