Summary More than 10 years experience in the management of community development programs and providing coordination for the programs and staff, capacity building for CBOs and NGOs initiatives, advocacy for development strategies. Experienced on Child Protection, Early Childhood Development, HIV/AIDS Awareness, Food Security and nutrition initiatives, Gender and Women empowerment Co-ordinator at District and Provincial level for International NGOs addressed to help Association of Persons Living with HIV/AIDS and Orphan and Vulnerable Children as well as other vulnerable groups such as women and children victims of trafficking in persons, sexual abuse and labor exploitation. Employment & Work Background


Since March 2013 Project Manager for Early Childhood Development project funded by Hilton Foundation USA, focusing on implementation based in science methods to introduce essential package tools to ensure a holistic approach to the potential development skills for infants from birth to 5 years age affected or at risk to be infected by HIV/AIDs.

I am responsible for the overall management and coordination of implementation of the above initiative, including (i) managing all project resources (HR, financial, assets, etc) as per the donors regulations (ii) coordinating all project activities thereby ensuring timely and quality implementation of and reporting on project activities (iii) lead the process of developing and testing a home based ECD model using the Essential Package tools and integrating social accountability tools in the process (iv) the development and implementation of the research component in collaboration with colleagues and consultants (v) the development and implementation of an M&E system that will allow for reliable data collection, the capture of knowledge and learning, measuring project outcomes throughout the life of the project and for informing the development of advocacy briefs (vi) promoting and coordinating effective collaboration with other initiatives as well as with other relevant partners including MMAS, MINEC, the ECD interest group, CSO partners, peer agencies, etc; (vii) Active participation in meetings and exchange of experience into the platform for coordinate actions in Mozambique, created by the Conrando Hilton Foundation partners under Early Childhood Development (ECD). March 2011 to February 2013 Migration and Anti-trafficking in Person Project Officer for Save the Children International in Mozambique funded by NORAD through the Royal Norwegian Embassy and implemented in Mozambique, in partnership with Attorney Generals Office, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Women and Social Welfare, and Civil Society Organizations. This project is also implemented in Mpumalanga province (South Africa) in partnership with the National Prosecutor Authority, Department of Social Development and Amazing Grace Children Centre. Responsibility Planning and coordination actions to prevention and combating unsafe migration and trafficking in persons, particularly women and children within Mozambique and South Africa; Monitoring activities implemented by partners in women and child protection against trafficking in person and assistance provided to support the victims of trafficking, sexual abuse and labor exploitation; Planning capacity building for partners and advocacy actions in coordination with stakeholders; Development of partnership agreements and ensure the disbursement of funds; Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports to the donor; Develop partnership between Save the Children Mozambique and South African Government on prevention and combating trafficking in persons. June to December 2010 I did the following consultancy in Save the Children Mozambique Training members of community committee of child protection on associativism and participative liderance. Training members of community committee of Bilene Macia, Chibuto and Guij districts about small business manage as a way to implement income generation activities to improve the conditions of OVCs; Training Social Action of Moamba district staff affected in Maguaza Center as trainee in small business manage to help the family of children reintegrated in context of the implementation the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Program; Training Save the Children and their partner implementation staff about Child Right Advocacy, manly to assist orphan and vulnerable children in Gaza province (Scale Up Program); Training about how to write Project proposal and mobilization funds strategies to Community Committee and implementation partner funding by Save the Children in Gaza Province (Scale Up Program); Consultant on training staff of National Net of Women Living with HIV and AIDs (Kuyakana) about Sexual and Reproductive Health, , and gender equity in context of HIV/AIDS, funded by African Women Development Fund (AWDF). This traning was financially supported by UNDP and was done in Maputo, Xai-Xai and Nampula cities. January 2009 June 2009 Coordination Assistant for French NGO (ESSOR) in Maputo, under the implemention of economic insertion programme of unemployment youth in peri-urban place of Maputo city through professional training, traineeship on entreprises and capacity development to develop income generation activities. This program was implemented in partnership with INEFP, European Union, French Agency for Development, Frres de nos Frres, Fondation Lord Michelham of Hellingly and other donors. November 2005 March 2008 As United Nations Volunteer (UNV) I worked for World Food Programme (WFP) into Food Aid Monitor teams in Bilene, Chicualacuala, Chigubo, Mabalane and Xai-Xai district (Gaza Province) where I coordinated end monitored the Cooperation Partner to implement community programs to halp People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHV) and Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) as well as on emergency programs in context of drought response and school feeding. Provided technical support for Cooperation Partners (local coordinators) of People Living With HIV and AIDS (PLWHV) and Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) about the criteria selection, IEC activity/ field workers, warehouse and food Manage in partnership with Provincial and Districtal Departament of Health, Woman, and Social Walfare (DPMAS) and Health. Provided school feeding support in partnership with Education Authorities for children living at rural areas and ensure the maintenance of girls at schools; 3

Provide supplementary feeding for malnourished children in collaboration with DPS of Gaza. November 2004/November 2005 Project Officer in ESSOR (French NGO) on Professional Training Project in perurban area (Maputo City- Municipality District n 2 and 3) to help vulnerable and unemployment persons to find livelihood forms in partnership with CBOs, Care International and National Institute to Employer and Professional Training (INEFP). Developed different activities to mobilize employer market in according with the goals of the Project; Built mechanisms to develop communication between the project objectives and other stakeholders in context of professional Training to help vulnerable and unemployment people, Mainstreaming of HIV/AIDS in different modules during preliminary selection and after the end of training; April 2003/November 2004 As Monitor Officer I worked for ACORD-Agency for Co-operating and researcher in Development (British NGO) in partnership with World Food Programme (WFP) during Emergency program as drought response to assist people affected in Funhalouro and Panda Districts (Inhambane province). Responsibilities Coordinate and monitoring different process in collaboration with Government Institutions at District level to distribute food aid (Visit and selection of beneficiaries, planning, implementing food for work activities and vulnerable group food modality to help different groups and organize the reports); Monitoring the food security tendencies in different community and districts; Promote the training in social area to develop capacity building strategy of CBOs to develop different activities in context of strengthen the livelihoods and to introduce gender equity, social inclusion and HIV/AIDS components.
