Thereallycoolpartaboutgettingtheopportunitytoseethiscompaniesdisplaygarden,isthatbecause thiscompanyonlysellscuttingstogrowersintheUS(notconsumers),thesevarietiesondisplaywereall unreleasedgeneticsthatwerebeingadvertisedtogrowerstobuynextyearandsellnextyear!So whenIstayedlatetohelpteardownthepottedplantdisplaygarden,Iwasallowedtopickaplantto takehomefree!IchoseanewpetuniacultivarcalledMidnightCowboy,andtheflowersareascloseto blackasanobviouspurplecouldeverget!Theplantitroughy3feetwide,andonly20"tallincluding thepot,andhaseasilyover300flowersinfullbloomonitrightnow!Iwilltakeapictureinthe morningwhenthelightinmyhouseisbetter,andwhentheplanthasperkedbackupfromthewilted stateitiscurrentlyin.Thecompanyhadallowedtheplantstogowithoutwateradaylongerthanusual tomakethemeasiertomovewhenthedisplaywasoverthisafternoon,andtheydidn'tlooktohappy afterthe20minutedriveinaveryhotdeliverytruckbacktocampus...butithasbeenwaterednow andshouldbereadyforpicturesagaininthemorning!
