    Fabric colors in Bargello
    1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

    Quilt measures 80x60 inches


    Fabric needed 1 yard of each (8 different shades of blue your
    choice)
    Cut 10 – 2 ½ inch strips of each fabric, from salvage to salvage
    Sew 5 strips of each color
    starting with fabric one to eight , repeat until you have forty strips sewn as
    shown below

    Make 2 panels
    Now sew fabric 1 to 8 on each of the panels to form a tube
    Now you have a tube and turn sideways as shown, you will cut the
    strips diagonally of the strips you've sewn
    Sew strips 1 thru 34 in order

    Row 1 - cut 3 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 1(open between fabrics (8&1)

    Row 2 - cut 3 inch strip starts with fabric 2 (open between fabrics (1&2)

    Row 3 - cut 2 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 3 (open between fabrics(2&3)

    Row 4 - cut 2 inch strip starts with fabric 4(open between fabrics (3&4)

    Row 5 - cut 1 ½ inch step starts with fabric 5(open between fabrics (4&5)

    Row 6 - cut 1 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 6(open between fabrics (5&6)

    Row 7 - cut 1 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 7(open between fabrics (6&7)

    Row 8 - cut 2 inch strip starts with fabric 8(open between fabrics (7&8)

    Row 9 - cut 2 inch strip starts with fabric 1(open between fabrics (8&1)

    Row 10- cut 2 ¼ inch strip starts with fabric 2(open between fabrics (1&2)

    Row 11- cut 2 ¼ inch strip starts with fabric 3(open between fabrics (2&3)

    Row 12- cut 2 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 4(open between fabrics (3&4)

    Row 13 - cut 2 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 5(open between fabrics (4&5)

    Row 14- cut 3 inch strip starts with fabric 6(open between fabric (5&6)

    Row 15- cut 3 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 7(open between fabrics (6&7)

    Row 16- cut 3 inch strip starts with fabric 6(open between fabric (5&6)

    Row 17- cut 2 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 5(open between fabrics (4&5)

    Row 18- cut 2 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 4(open between fabrics (3&4)

    Row 19- cut 2 ¼ inch strip starts with fabric 3(open between fabrics (2&3)

    Row 20- cut 2 ¼ inch strip starts with fabric 2(open between fabrics (1&2)

    Row 21- cut 2 inch strip starts with fabric 1(open between fabric (8&1)

    Row 22- cut 2 inch strip starts with fabric 88(open between fabric (7&8)
    Row 23- cut 1 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 7(open between fabrics (6&7)

    Row 24- cut 1 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 6(open between fabrics (5&6)

    Row 25- cut 1 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 7(open between fabrics (6&7)

    Row 26- cut 2 inch strip starts with fabric 8(open between fabric (7&8)

    Row 27- cut 2 inch strip starts with fabric 1(open between fabric (8&1)

    Row 28- cut 2 ¼ inch strip starts with fabric 2(open between fabrics (1&2)

    Row 29- cut 2 ¼ inch strip starts with fabric 3(open between fabrics (2&3)

    Row 30- cut 2 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 4(open between fabrics (3&4)

    Row 31- cut 2 ½ inch strip starts with fabric 5(open between fabrics (4&5)

    Row 32- cut 3 inch strip starts with fabric 6(open between fabric (5&6)

    Row 33- cut 3 inch strip starts with fabric 7(open between fabric (6&7)
