How Can I Help with AUTUMNFEST!


Volunteer for part of the night and play for part! Parents can trade off and double their volunteer power! Bring in several bags of CANDY - we need our boxes to overflow! Chocolate is not only ok...its FANTASTIC :-) Invite a friend Help with Setup on Thursday morning at 10:00 Stay a little late to put campus back together Pray for this to be an amazing outreach to our community!

Make a real difference by joining a group of our preschool parents and staff who are working together to commit anonymous random acts of kindness throughout the school, Church and community. Nicole Moran, the weekday Preschool Director, will lead this group through short daytime meetings and emails. Contact Nicole for more information at ccpk@chaparral.org.

Youth Group
Hoopla is Chaparral Christian Church's Wednesday night youth program! We meet from 7:00-8:30 on Wednesday nights at the Church. Come join us, and bring your friends! On October 23rd we will be putting together the awesome Tunnel O' Fun! Come see how much fun boxes and tape can be! Sign up to help with Autumnfest! You can dress up in NON-scary but fun costume. Be creative!

Saguaro Club Chili Luncheon!


Saturday, October 19th, at noon! Join us for Anita Masters famous chili and then stay for some lively games: dominoes, cards, etc. You are asked to bring a salad to share. The chili and ice cream will be provided! Sign up at the south counter! The Saguaro Club is a lively group of retired (and wannabe retired) adults who encourage each other to stay active.

Faithbuilders Class RoundUp!


After the 9:00 a.m. service on October 20th please join us for a lunch at the Cartwright home! Burgers and dogs, beverages and paper goods will be provided. Bring a favorite side dish to share! For more information, see Mary Cartwright. The Faithbuilders Class has been meeting for a number of years, but it is always a welcoming place for newcomers to become connected in the Church family. The class meets Sundays at 8:00 a.m. in the East Hall.

Join us for Unfettered, a four-week study on living a life of freedom so that we can live out Gods kingdom vision in our lives here and now. We will be meeting during November at 9:00 a.m. in the North Room with the Salt Sunday School class. Special guest teachers, Joe and Dawn Nassise.
Chaparral is having a Blood Drive Sunday Morning, November 3rd. Sign up today at the south counter to help save a life! Walk to Bethlehem! Walk your way to a healthier heart by joining the Walk to Bethlehem. The goal is 10,000 steps per person per day. Using a pedometer, record your steps starting Nov. 3rd and report them each Sunday. Working together, we can walk enough miles to make it to Bethlehem with healthier bodies with which to worship our King on Christmas. Signups start Oct. 13.

Communion/Lords Supper All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while it is in front of them before passing it along. Offering In all of our services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an act of worship and voluntary. Nursery We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
