The learners should be able to : 1.identify the transitive and intransitive verbs. 2.understand the doer and receiver of the action. 3.learn the various forms of verb. a)complement b)transitive c)intransitive d)subject e)object The teacher will explain voice the form of the verb which shows whether the subject does something or something is done to the subject. Also,the difference between active and passive voice via varied examples will be explained.(stress will be laid on teaching the concept inductively i.e, to give e.g in meaningful contexts first and then pattern or rule) COMPARE : 1.Rama wrote a letter. 2.A letter was written by Rama. 3.Madhavi was cooking a nice meal. 4.A nice meal was being cooked by Madhavi. On the basis of the sentences written above the active and passive voice will be explained via ppt. Also, apt stress will be laid on its tense and forms. (for instance present passive past passive, future passive, etc.)
