This information about hair has been hidden from the public since the Viet Nam War . Our culture leads people to believe that hair style is a matter of personal preference, that hair style is a matter of fashion and/or convenience, and that how people wear their hair is simply a cosmetic issue. Back in the Viet Nam war however, an entirely different picture emerged, one that has been carefully covered up and hidden from public view.

In the early nineties, Sally [name changed to protect privacy] was married to a licensed psychologist who worked at a VA Medical hospital. He worked with combat veterans with PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder. Most of them had served in Viet Nam. Sally said,

"I remember clearly an evening when my husband came back to our apartment on Doctor's Circle carrying a thick official looking folder in his hands. Inside were hundreds of pages of certain studies commissioned by the government. He was in shock from the contents. What he read in those documents completely changed his life. From that moment on my conservative middle of the road husband grew his hair and beard and never cut them again. What is more, the VA Medical center let him do it, and other very conservative men in the staff followed his example. As I read the documents, I learned why. It seems that during the Viet Nam War special forces in the war department had sent undercover experts to comb American Indian Reservations looking for talented scouts, for tough young men trained to move stealthily through rough terrain. They were especially looking for men with outstanding, almost supernatural, tracking abilities. Before being approached, these carefully selected men were extensively documented as experts in tracking and survival. With the usual enticements, the well proven smooth phrases used to enroll new recruits, some of these indian trackers were then enlisted. Once enlisted, an amaz ing thing happened. Whatever talents and skills they had possessed on the reservation seemed to mysteriously disappear, as recruit after recruit failed to perform as expected in the field. Serious casualties and failures of performance led the government to contract expensive testing of these recruits, and this is what was found. When questioned about their failure to perform as expected, the older recruits replied consistently that when they received their required military haircuts, they could no longer 'sense' the enemy, they could no longer access a 'sixth sense' , their 'intuition' no longer was reliable, they couldn't 'read' subtle signs as well or access subtle extrasensory information. So the testing institute recruited more indian trackers, let them keep their long hair, and tested them in multiple areas. Then they would pair two men together who had received the same scores on all the tests. They would let one man in the pair keep his hair long, and gave the other man a military haircut. Then the two men retook the tests. Time after time the man with long hair kept making high scores. Time after time, the man with the short hair failed the tests in which he had previously scored high scores. Here is a typical test: The recruit is sleeping out in the woods. An armed 'enemy' approaches the sleeping man. The long haired man is awakened out of his sleep by a strong sense of danger and gets away long before the enemy is close, long before any sounds from the approaching enemy are audible. In another version of this test the long haired man senses an approach and somehow intuits that the enemy will perform a physical attack. He follows his 'sixth sense' and stays still, pretending to be sleeping, but quickly grabs the attacker and 'kills' him as the attacker reaches down to strangle him. This same man, after having passed these and other tests, then received a military haircut and consistently failed these tests, and many other tests that he had previously passed. So, the document recommended that all Indian trackers be exempt from military haircuts. In fact, it required that trackers keep their hair long."

Comment

The mammalian body has evolved over millions of years. Survival skills of human and animal at times seem almost supernatural. Science is constantly coming up with more discoveries about the amaz ing abilities of man and animal to survive. Each part of the body has highly sensitive work to perform for the survival and well being of the body as a whole. The body has a reason for every part of itself. Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exterioriz ed nerves, a type of highly- evolved 'feelers' or 'antennae' that transmit vast amounts of important information to the brainstem, the limbic system, and the neocortex. Not only does hair in people, including facial hair in men, provide an information highway reaching the brain, hair also emits energy, the electromagnetic energy emitted by the brain into the outer environment. This has been seen in Kirlian photography when a person is photographed with long hair and then rephotographed after the hair is cut. When hair is cut, receiving and sending transmissions to and from the environment are greatly hampered. This results in 'numbing- out'. Cutting of hair is a contributing factor to unawareness of environmental distress in local ecosystems. It is also a contributing factor to insensitivity in relationships of all kinds. It contributes to sexual frustration.

Conclusion
In searching for solutions for the distress in our world, it may be time for us to consider that many of our most basic assumptions about reality are in error. It may be that a major part of the solution is looking at us in the face each morning when we see ourselves in the mirror. Esta informacin sobre el pelo ha sido ocultada de la opinin pblica desde la Guerra de Vietnam. Nuestra cultura lleva a la gente a creer que el estilo de pelo que llevan es una cuestin de preferencia personal; que su estilo de pelo es un asunto de moda o conveniencia y que cmo la gente lleve su pelo es simplemente un asunto de esttica. Pero en la guerra de Vietnam, se tena una visin completamente distinta, una que ha sido cuidadosamente ocultada del pblico en general.

A comienz os de los noventa, Sally (que ha cambiado su nombre para conservar su privacidad) estaba casada con un siclogo licenciado que trabaj en el hospital mdico VA. Trabajaba con veteranos de combate con desrdenes de estrs post-traumtico (TEPT) y muchos de ellos haban servido en Vietnam. Sally dice: Recuerdo claramente una noche cuando mi marido regres a nuestro apartamento en la z ona mdica llevando un portafolios muy grueso oficial en las manos. Lo que es ms, el Centro Mdico VA le dej hacerlo y otros hombres conservadores del equipo siguieron su ejemplo. Como le aquellos documentos, esto es lo que aprend en ellos. Parece que durante la Guerra de Vietnam, las fuerz as especiales en el departamento de guerra haban enviado a expertos para seleccionar a hombres de las reservas indias de Amrica que fueran guerreros con talento, hombres jvenes que se movieran bien sobre el terreno de guerra. Buscaban hombres con capacidades excepcionales, casi sobrenaturales. Antes de tratar de convencerles a unirse a ellos, eran cuidadosamente seleccionados por sus capacidades de rastreo y supervivencia. Con los camelos habituales y bonitas frases se les trataba de ganar para la causa. Una vez de que formaban parte de las filas, algo increble ocurra. Cualesquiera que fueran sus talentos y capacidades en la reserva, pareca que misteriosamente desaparecan, y eso ocurra una y otra vez cada vez que se les seleccionaba.

Los fallos continuados llevaron al gobierno a contratar unas pruebas muy caras para dar con lo que estaba ocurriendo. Al iniciar esas pruebas se vio que cuando se les preguntaba sobre su incapacidad para hacer aquello que se esperaba de ellos, los hombres mayores contestaban una y otra vez que eso se deba a sus cortes de pelo militares y que no podan sentir al enemigo, ni acceder a su sexto sentido, su intuicin y que por eso sus sentidos no podan ser fiables, ni ellos podan leer las seales ms sutiles, ni acceder a informacin extrasensorial de tipo sutil. As que el instituto que haca las pruebas seleccion a ms rastreadores y les dejaba el pelo largo y les probaba en mltiples tareas. Tambin compararon a dos hombres juntos que haban recibido los mismos puntos en todos los tests. A uno le dejaban el pelo largo y a otro le daban un corte de pelo militar. Luego a los dos hombres les volvan a valorar. Una y otra vez el hombre con el pelo largo mantena los mejores resultados. Una y otra vez , el hombre con el pelo corto fallaba en las pruebas en las que antes haba mostrado buenos resultados. Aqu est una prueba tpica: El seleccionado est durmiendo en los bosques. Un enemigo armado se aproxima cuando el hombre duermen. El hombre de pelo largo se despierta de su sueo con un fuerte sentido del peligro y se aleja antes de que el enemigo est cerca, antes incluso de que se escuche al enemigo o su paso sea audible. En otra versin de este test el hombre de pelo largo siente que algo se aproxima y de alguna manera intuye que el enemigo le atacar fsicamente. Sigue su sexto sentido y se queda quieto pretendiendo dormir, pero rpidamente agarra a su atacante y le mata cuando ste intenta estrangularle. Este mismo hombre, despus de haber pasado esta y otras pruebas similares, recibe un corte de pelo militar y empez aba a fallar constantemente en las pruebas que antes haba aprobado. As que el documento recomendaba que todos los rastreadores indios estuvieran exentos de los cortes militares. De hecho, se requera que los rastreadores tuvieran el pelo largo."

Comentario
El cuerpo del mamfero ha evolucionado por millones de aos. Las capacidades de supervivencia humanas y animales parecen a veces sobrenaturales. La ciencia est constantemente descubriendo capacidades ms increbles orientadas a la supervivencia. Cada parte de cuerpo tiene un trabajo altamente sensitivo que realiz ar para la supervivencia y el bienestar del cuerpo en su conjunto. El cuerpo tiene una raz n para cada parte de s mismo. El pelo es una extensin del sistema nervioso, puede ser correctamente visto como nervios exterioriz ados, un tipo de hilos sensitivos altamente evolucionados o antenas que transmiten una enorme cantidad de informacin al cerebro, al sistema lmbico y neocortex. No slo el pelo de la gente, incluyendo el facial en los hombres, ofrece un camino para que la informacin llegue al cerebro sino que emite energa, energa electromagntica emitida por el cerebro al medioambiente exterior. Esto ha sido visto en fotografa Kirlian cuando una persona es fotografiada con el pelo largo y luego re- fotografiada despus de un corte de pelo. Cuando el pelo es cortado, el envo y emisin de transmisiones desde y al medioambiente es altamente alterado. Esto resulta en bloqueo de informacin. Cortar el pelo es un factor que contribuye a que no percibamos el estrs medioambiental en nuestros ecosistemas locales. Tambin contribuye a insensibiliz arnos en las relaciones de todo tipo.

Buscando soluciones para tratar la locura de nuestro mundo, puede que haya llegado el momento de que consideremos que muchas de nuestras asunciones bsicas sobre la realidad son incorrectas. Puede que una parte importante de la solucin sea mirarnos a nosotros mismos a la cara cada maana cuando nos vemos en el espejo.
