The pH 1000 L meter enables you to perform measurements (pH) quickly and reliably. The pH 1000 L meter provides a maximum degree of operating comfort, reliability and measuring certainty. Keys are indicated by brackets <..>. The key symbol (e.g. <OK>) generally indicates a short keystroke (under 2 sec). A long keystroke (approx. 2 sec) is indicated by the underscore behind the key symbol (e.g. <OK >).

Automatic calibration (CAL TEC, CAL NIST)

For the TEC and NIST procedures, use one to three buffer solutions of the relevant buffer set (Technical buffers or NIST buffers) in any order. 1 2 3 4 5 Set the buffer set to be used for calibration as necessary. Press <CAL> repeatedly until the TEC or NIST function indicator appears. If necessary, set the temperature of the buffer solution with <><>. Immerse the pH combination electrode in the first buffer solution. Start the measurement with <OK>. The [Auto] display indicator flashes. The electrode voltage (mV) or the nominal value of the buffer is displayed. As soon as a stable value is recognized, BUF2 appears.

Here you can cancel the calibration procedure with <MODE>. This corresponds to a single-point calibration. The value of the zero point (ASY) is displayed. Pressing <OK> displays the value of the slope (SLO). 7 8 9 10 Thoroughly rinse the combination electrode with distilled water. If necessary, set the temperature of the second buffer solution with <><>. Immerse the combination electrode in the second buffer solution. Press the <OK> key. The [Auto] display indicator flashes. The electrode voltage (mV) or the nominal value of the buffer is displayed. As soon as a stable value is recognized, BUF3 appears.

Calibration interval (pH Int.C)

The calibration interval reminds you to calibrate regularly. After the specified calibration interval (pH Int.C) has expired, the symbol for the calibration evaluation flashes. It is still possible to measure. 1 2 3 4 Open the menu for measurement settings with <MODE

Confirm all settings with <OK> until pH Int.C is displayed. Set the calibration interval with <><>. Confirm the setting with <OK>.

En este momento se puede interrumpir la calibracin con <MODE>. Esto corresponde a una calibracin de un punto. En el display se ve el valor del punto cero (ASY). Con <OK> se visualiza el valor de la pendiente (SLO). 7 8 9 10 Enjuagar escrupulosamente los electrodos con agua destilada. En caso dado, asignar la temperatura de la segunda solucin tamponada con <><>. Sumergir la sonda de medicin del pH en la segunda solucin tamponada. Presionar la tecla <OK>. La indicacin [Auto] parpadea. En el display aparece el voltaje de la sonda de medicin (mV) o bien, el valor nominal de la solucin tampn. En el momento en que el instrumento reconoce un valor estable, aparece BUF3.

En este momento se puede interrumpir la calibracin con <MODE>. Esto corresponde a una calibracin de dos puntos. En el display se ve el valor del punto cero (ASY). Intervalle de calibration (pH Int.C)

L'intervalle de calibration vous rappelle que vous devez effectuer la calibration intervalles rguliers. Aprs expiration de l'intervalle de calibration rgl (pH Int.C), le symbole d'valuation de la calibration clignote. Il est cependant possible de poursuivre les mesures. 1 2 3 4 Avec <MODE

Il valore della pendenza (SLO) appare con <OK>. 7 8 9 10 Sciacquare accuratamente l'elettrodo con dell'acqua distillata. Impostare ev. la temperatura della seconda soluzione tampone con <><>.
