Sometimes referred to as an over and under assault-flamer, the M-95 DuPyro assault carbine is a rare and highly prized relic. Records show that it first made its appearance in combat in 2112 against armed mutant protestors at a revolt in Chicago, dispersing the starving, unemployed mob and leaving dozens dead, and many others suffering from 3rd degree burns. In The Mutant Epoch era, the weapon can be found in the hands of warmorts, androids and a few pure stock holdover corporate factions, who unleash them on intruders with devastating results. Basically this is a combination of a somewhat superior assault rifle with an improved flame unit, sharing a stock, trigger group, rail mount system, sights and barrel cover, resulting in a somewhat bulky, heavy over and under weapon

system. The operator can select between flame, three shot burst or single shot with a left side selector (shown in the illustration), but with some slight modifications by a gunsmith, a fourth, all in option can be added whereby both the assault rifle and flame unit disgorge murder simultaneously. When uncovered from old arsenals in the ruins, they are often found in a plastic case, oiled and with a cleaning kit, shoulder strap and d2 drum and d3 standard 30 shot magazines, along with d3 1L canisters for fuel. 74% of the time such a find will also include 50+d100 rifle rounds, and any fuel canisters will be full. For whatever reason, an adventure team may wish to sell one of these weapons, which in a decent sized trade town would fetch them 5600+3d1000s

The range shown is the effective range, but all weapons can go double this with a reduction of half the shooters regular SV, plus, half damage on strikes. *Also accepts standard 30 round assault rifle magazines. **A backpack unit holds 20 liters (100 rounds use) of flammable fuel. A canister holds a liter (20 rounds use). Flame shoots in a cone 3m wide at 6m range and beyond, and is able to burn 2 man-sized targets at once if they are close (within 3m of each other). ***After the initial flame damage of 2d20, targets burn taking d10 damage for d6 further rounds, unless immersed in water. Flammable creatures such as pit slimes and plants continue to burn until consumed or are also drenched or submerged in water.
